I'd be interested to know how many cals you burn doing the Power90.
-
I looked online to find an estimate about how many calories were burned per workout. I am doingTony's other workout, the Power 90. I had read online when I did a search that based on the meal plan, you have a 600 calorie deficit per day if you do the 45 minute workout. So I set that as my exercize. Well on the video I have…

I am in the middle of my binge right now. I made some lowfat cookies and now I am enjoying a beer. I am right there with you. I have been doing well for a long time so I won't beat myself up too much. I will get back on it tomorrow.

You are not silly. I just sorted my clothes to get rid of stuff I didn't need anymore and I could not bear to get rid of the clothes I wore when I first got married because some day, I am going to fit in them again. I let go of my size 6's but those 8/10, I am keeping those!

I get the same thing. I have set programs that I can choose from. I usually run for 40 minutes. If I only do 30 minutes, the difference in calories burned is incredible! It also makes a difference if I stop or not. On bad days I have to stop at least once. Plus I have a 14 month old so sometimes I have to stop and take…

I do the same thing. Don't beat yourself up. I have decided that I will only have healthy snacks in my house now. That way when I want to snack, my only options are healthy ones. I have a cookie addiction so I have sought out and tweeked some cookie recipes so I can get my fix. My favs right now are a peanut butter recipe…

My husband and I signed up for life insurance when my son was born. We had to undergo physicals. The gentleman told me that if I lost some weight, he could rate my health as excellent but since I was overweight, he could only give me a good. I have been thin my whole life and to hear a stranger essentially tell me I was…

Welcome. I also live in Ohio so it's nice to see someone in the same region. This site has been helpful to me. I am not a good dieter. With this site I don't feel like I am dieting. I am making healthier food choices which is really what I have needed to do the whole time. I am 31 years old and I was still eating like I…

Welcome to the site. It's nice to have someone or in this case something to hold you accountable. I know that slowly I am becoming a healthier person because of this site. Best of luck to you.

Originally, I just did what MercuryBlue said, just put in the 500 calories, but as my son started eating solid foods, I then adjusted to actually log the time I breastfed because I wasn't losing weight and I was never sure if I was actually burning as many calories as I thought. And when I went back to work, I had to…

I was in the same boat. I read somewhere that you shouldn't go below 1800 calories if you don't want to lose your milk. So I manually set my calories to 1800 and then I added as an exercise breastfeeding. I also read that you burn between 500-600 calories a day breastfeeding provided that you breastfeed exclusively. So I…

I sent you a message but then I got to thinking. Aldi is a terrific place to shop. AwMyLoLo suggested that too. In fact I just went grocery shopping and that's where I went. They have a brand called Fit & Active which has low fat alternatives. I just picked up turkey burgers from Aldi. And for snacks, they have low cal…

I did my first 5K a couple of weeks ago. You did better than me. 42 minutes. I run really slow. I am really happy for you. Actually running my first 5K inspired me to keep up with my running and try and do another and actually try and shave some time off my run. A friend of mine finished his in 19 minutes. I don't think I…

I have had the same issue. I lost 5 lbs right away and then I hit a plateau for over a month. I was exercising regularly and didn't feel like I was starving. I was breastfeeding but I added extra calories to account for that. I felt like I was having to eat all the time to keep up with my calories. Then I stopped…

Congratulations on your success! I had my own small success today. I have a shirt that I used to wear all the time before I got pregnant and after I had my son, it would not button across my chest. The buttons would be bursting at the seams so I always have to wear a tank top underneath and leave the top buttons undone. I…

I usually track my food as I go throughout the day so I can monitor how I am doing and adjust my meals if necessary. If I am away from home it's another story. Then I write down all my meals and log them at the end of the day. I find it better to log as I go because I can catch myself if I am going to eat something I…

I share the McDonald's addiction as well. And I drag my hubby down with me. I will be out and on my way to the house I will call him and ask him if he needs anything. I try and justify my craving if he willl give in with me. Here's my thought. If you have to go out and get it, DON'T. I love those 100 calorie snack packs. I…

When I was pregnant, I was nauseas all the time. Everything, even water made me sick. I found that a vanilla milkshake would do the trick for me. It's not the most diet friendly food, but it has some substance and the cooling taste of the ice cream helped soothe my tummy. That's the only thing that worked for me. If you…

Don't starve yourself today. I hear you though. I pigged out yesterday for lunch, okay and snacks. I just decided this morning that it's a new day. Get back on that horse!

Congratulations!! I was going to go off the wagon today and eat something horrible for lunch-again, but after reading this, nope. I am going to be good and have a healthy choice for lunch! Thanks for the inspiration.

That is amazing. Great job!!!!

Welcome. This is my first time dieting. I mean really dieting, not just saying I am going to watch what I eat and then falling off the wagon when the weekend comes. So far, I love it. I am way more conscious about what I eat and I weigh the pros and cons of my food before I eat it. I don't waste my calories on food that's…

I feel you. I have been on this website for about a month now and I have lost the same 5lbs. I was so frustrated and started to slack in my exercise routine. It was really frustrating until I meaured myself and then I realized that even though the pounds aren't coming off like I hoped, I am losing inches. I am getting back…

I hear your pain. I was the tiniest person in my family. I was 110lbs all through high school. When I went to college and got married my heaviest was 125. I weighed in at 160 before I got pregnant with my son and after him, 165. I can't even fit into the swimsuit I wore on my honeymoon and it was only 2 years ago. I want…

I also just got back from visiting family and I really struggled keeping my calories within bounds. Not only did I not work out, but I went over my calories by a lot every day. Ugggh!! I was trying to be really careful, but we had a wedding and the alcohol definately put me over. Oh, and great, I didn't even log in the…

I got Mirena after having my son. My doctor recommended it to me because even though it is hormonal it has a lower dose and is safer for breastfeeding. It was really painful to have put in, at least I thought so. My doctor said he won't recommend it to women who have not previously had children because the cervix needs to…

I totally feel for you. When I was pregnant with my son, I got acute morning sickness pretty much from the time I found out and it didn't go away! I felt nauseated the entire time. The first thing I realized after birth was that I didn't feel like throwing up. Everything made me sick. Water made me ill. I found that…
