Okay, thanks kwitilbury; BAZH10, murp4069 and ponycyndi. I will try that approach. I was hoping for a protein powder that was less thick, but I didn't really expect that answer.

Check in with "Chocolate Covered Katie" she has a blog that might work for you. You should be able to find something on there. Her recipes are delicious.

Loved your post(s). I keep failing, but I also keep coming back to try again. Thanks for focusing my mindset.

Both Sam's and Costco carry those type of pants for an excellent price. I usually buy the 2 pack of yoga pants which makes them a bout $12 each. You find them in the cardboard boxes and not on the tables. Love them and I wear them for running, gravity class and yoga.

That is huge!!!

If that works for you, great! This is a recipe site, not attack the OP. We all have little things that sound weird to others concerning calories in and calories out.

So happy for you! You look great and have a fabulous outlook on life.

Impressive!!!! I like your camping pic too.

If I was closer, I'd meet you there. :)

Nature Valley Dark Chocolate and Peanut Butter Protein Bars; I always have one on hand. They aren't too high in sugar and have 10 grams of protein, so they will kill a hunger craving (at least keep it at bay). I also cut up carrots and celery sticks on the weekend and take a bag of those with a laughing cow wedge or some…

Excellent NSV!

That was the best story and I like many others can relate! I appreciate you putting it into perspective and how you continued on your journey in spite of yourself. It gives me hope that I too, will get my mojo back for more than a day or two at a time.

Best story ever told!

Proof that you are amazing, great NSV!

Hello, I'm running my first 5k on June 8th. I completed the C25K inside on a treadmill and then moved to the road three weeks ago. I started running 3 days a week at the park (there is a .6 mile path) and really have not run a complete 5k without stopping yet. I have since moved to running through my neighborhood and then…

Size 10 Isn't Fat, it's even a book title written by Meg Cabot!

Thanks to you and everyone else who said that elliptical machines are difficult. I thought I was just crazy that I couldn't do more than 2 minutes on that machine. I sent it with my daughter to college and the darn machine came home on Sunday. I hopped on this morning and could do 30 slow minutes. But by now I meet with…

I noticed in my waist and my feet. I started walking out of my shoes; who knew that would happen. I've gone from a size 7.5 almost wide to a size 7 not ever a wide. The exercise and better diet have made a huge difference, the scale creeps down by ounces. I'm down 9 pounds since joining MFP and 26 inches which equates from…

Great Job! People want to take the easy way out and just magically drop the weight. In actuallity this is the easy way, it just takes some time. You look great and can certainly run after your daughter with no trouble.

Great Job!!!! I'm at 2 miles and can't wait to feel like you and hit that 3 mile mark.

That sounds delicious!

Download the C25K app from coolrunnings.com and he tells you when to run and when your 60 seconds are up. It is a great plan and there is a different podcast for each week. Try it, you will like it!

I'm running my first one on June 8th. I was going to practice on Sunday. I'll come back and post my time, but it will be slow. I've been running on a treadmill and am just moving outside so I am ready. This sounds good.

That is truly excellent! It is so easy to slip and not regain your focus. You should be very proud.
-
Great Job!!! I made it to the end of the program but am not quite running a full 5k yet. I had a great weekend camping and realized how fit and strong I was becoming and signed up this morning. I hope I do as well as you. I'm pretty excited and have 6 weeks to train. Keep working on the C25K, I had to repeat week 4 and…

BUMP! That was great reading. Your dedication and perseverance truly inspiring, thank you for posting!

That is incredible. I've watch my girls climb those little walls and always wanted to try it. Being fat and out of shape and fear of failure has kept me from the wall. You have inspired me to try the next one I see, if it's in the legs, I've got that! Thank you for taking some of the fear out of this exercise.

I hit that last week and it just made me smile all day long. Great job and happy ONEderland!!!

It seems a lot of people are weighing in on your post. And yes if you change the way you eat, you do feel hungry often, but it will subside. I used to eat because I'm hungry, because I think I'm hungry, because it is a designated meal time, because I'm stressed, because I'm bored, etc. It takes a while for your body to…
