South Florida, 89 degrees. I WISH it was 66 here. Ugh. I hate heat!

I just bought the Polar FT40 and can't wait to use it. It's supposed to have everything the FT4 has and more. I'm excited as I can't normally track my crossfit workouts. **Forgot to mention the reviews are great, too!

Lmao.. That was a good one.

Are you guys serious? He didn't tell her about a "thigh gap" so he is dishonest and she should break up with him? This is a little ridiculous now.. I assume age plays a factor.

This made me laugh.. this seems kind of trivial to me. (The reason for this topic.) But that's just me.

That's awesome! Congrats. I'm doing a restricted calorie diet and crossfit 3-4x a week. I've lost about 4lbs in 2 weeks. So it does work if you put in the effort! I'm hoping to lose at least 4-5 more in the next two weeks!
-
Awesome, thank you. Good to know!

Do you use a wrist HRM or an around body type? I'm wanting to get one, but figure the wrist one might be in the way at some points.

I usually track my crossfit sessions as general aerobics, or circuit training as well. Like everyone else says, you can't really track it as it's so many varied exercises. But make sure you don't overestimate what you think you're doing. I never really claim to burning over 300 or so, unless it's a REALLY tough WOD.

I'm currently trying to kick my diet soda habit as well. It's SO hard to do. I've drank diet soda for years. I never drank tons of the stuff, but maybe a glass a day, basically with lunch or dinner. Pizza and diet soda, yum, sandwich and diet, yum. But this week I've been sticking to crystal light, and only had diet soda…

Too funny, I'm pretty sure I got one from her awhile back when I made a post about starting crossfit.
-
Yep! I do that also. I couldn't imagine not eating them back. I'd be hungry! LoL.
-
Thanks. I just tried this and it said about 1580 a day. Which is typically what I'm at once I eat back the calories I burn at class. So I guess I'm on a good track! :)

The crossfit classes after work has definitely helped with keeping me busy. I literally have 20 minutes to get home, walk my dog, change, and head to my class, then I'm not home until 8:20 ish. So I eat a small dinner and go to bed. So I don't have much time to think. LoL.
-
LMAO, that was hilarious.

I joined Crossfit in March and it's been great so far. I think that the group classes is what I need/needed to stay motivated, as just going the the gym never quite did it for me. Those people with the great bodies will be super friendly, don't worry! :) Add to that the people cheering you on, and pushing you to finish,…

I use the dark chocolate version in my protein shake all the time. :) I can spare 10 calories to have a more chocolatey shake. Also, I love making mint chocolate shakes. Just a drop of peppermint extract = amazing. :)

Happy, don't worry about training really hard to prepare. They will scale things for you. You'll get better as you're there! :) And grl, good luck! It's tough, but worth it! I love seeing results. :)

I'm 5'3. Current weight is 163. I started around 168. My goal is to get to 135. I'm in my 5th week of Crossfit now. Believe it or not, I noticed results after the first 3 visits. I don't kill myself yet, I go 3 days a week. Usually Tues, Weds, and Friday. I figure once I build up, I'll be able to get the 4th day in there.…

Fort Lauderdale here!

Hey guys! I'm 5'3" and I'm doing 1200/day, too. It's tough, but I know it will work if I stick to it! I can't wait to not feel hungry, though.. that's the worst part. Aiming for 30 lbs. Good luck everyone!
