Eat high protein foods, even though they may be smaller in mass (feel less full initially), they will keep you from being hungry longer. drink lots of water to fill the excess "empty" feeling volume. My MFP goal is 1440 but I usually aim for about 200 under whatever my recommended calories are (more if I've "earned" a lot of calories from working out)
