These are amazing as a pasta! They are even more amazing as a pasta substitute when one is cutting/dieting since, as already mentioned, they fill you up like traditional spaghetti would. I just wish I would have discovered these a lot sooner.

I haven't read the other responses on here so excuse me if mine is repeating itself but a few things to consider: 1 - Not Enough Calories: perhaps, for your height, weight and activity level, you could be under eating for your goal (cutting, losing weight or bulking, gaining size) 2 - Water: You mentioned drinking tons of…

Personally, I am a subscriber to a bunch of bodybuilding channels on YouTube. These are basically guys that have either competed professionally/locally and/or are personal trainers that have videos on everything from tips on diet to exercises. There are a number of women that have similar style channels as well. Between…

A word of advice: although one can do exercises that will directly impact a body part you can't spot train specific body parts either. OK let me rephrase that. For example a lot of people want to lose their flabby stomach and the first thing they do is do a ton of ab exercises thinking this will do the trick or for their…

Some folks believe depriving themselves from carbs is the key to losing weight. In actuality the key to losing weight is to eat in a calorie deficit. In laymen's: its calculating the amount of protein and fats (the rest will be made up from carbs) to determine how many grams of each of these three macro-nutrients you…

The word "obsession" is used in bodybuilding primarily by lazy individuals or people that don't have the drive to make a lifestyle change to acquire the body they have always wanted. If you're happy and aren't hurting yourself or others continue doing what you are doing.

I think you're reading wayyyy to much into all of this. Just eat as many fruits and veggies as you can daily and document them in MFP.
-
You've been doing it correctly; definitely weigh it before. To make your life easier for next time just type in or scan the bar code of the exact brand of the potatoes from the bag that they came in (ie. Green Giant).

I use this same principle (+/- 5) for all three. As long as you make sure you're overall caloric number is close to 0 at the end of the day, consistently, you'll be fine.
-
To give you a straight to the point answer: You will be more successful meeting or getting close to your overall numbers than falling short even though your goal is to lose weight. Meeting your proteins, fats and carbs at a perfect 0 is unrealistic. I learned a while back, through another MFP user, that the most important…

In my opinion any exercise regiment is better than the one that never takes place. A few months ago this woman who is a training beast (not manly just really knows her way around the weight room) at my gym gave birth but she was still lifting light to moderate weight all the way to the very end. Very impressive.

I train with weights 4 times a week and that alone is close to two hours not counting cardio 3 times a week for, currently, 175 calories burned. I switched from performing cardio for x amount of time to a specific amount of calories burned to much better results.
-
I'm not sure was Jam is as a form of cardio; at least I have never heard that term before. The only thing that I see as extra would be that additional 1 mile run. Other than that, overall, your breakdown seems pretty good.
-
Regardless of what exercise regiment one is doing a rest day is absolutely necessary. 2-3 days in a week, depending on your level of fitness etc., is ideal.

I'm not a personal trainer but I'd assume that would be one of the first things I'd want to know about a client of mine especially if I am going to the lengths of creating a custom meal plan for them. Just my two cents.

Your original post made me respond to it due to a Instagram picture that I saw recently speaking about this very topic of cleansing. In a nutshell it basically stated that people don't give their bodies enough credit for its own way where it "cleanses" the system daily through proper diet and exercise. One major issue I…

In the past the same has been said about beef, chicken, etc. etc. If you cook your protein source thoroughly you shouldn't have problems.

I have one that I use once a week to make my rice. It steams veggies as well but I don't use it for that purpose.
-
I don't want to burst your bubble on this but cleansing products are "lose weight fast" schemes from marketers. The best way to slim down is what I am sure you have probably heard before: knowing the amount of calories your own body needs to lose weight (eating in a deficit), a good exercise regiment and drinking plenty of…

Cup of coffee from Dunkin Donuts with skim milk. A small cup is only 15 calories.

Just know this for starters: There is no "right time" to consume your total calories for the day. Meaning that you can consume those 1330 calories within however amount of meals you want (ie. 2, 6, 10). Eat when hungry as long as you get as close to consuming those 1330 calories as possible.

Good job bruh! Don't stop!

Incredible transformation! Great job!

Besides what's already been said about form, which is crucial is most exercises especially for smaller body parts (arms, calves, etc.), you may want to look into Glucosamine. Great supplement that aims to restore the joints

If you're on 1790 worth of calories you're more than likely eating and/or training for a cut where more protein and less carbs are the norm. Since I am bulking the exact opposite rings true: more carbs and less protein. Usually around 1 - 1.5 grams per body weight on average.

Thanks to the both of you; much appreciated!
