  • I love fat, enhances flavour, helps with healthy hair, skin, nails, digestive tract. Go for it

  • I would say you are aiming to lose too fast, you should be aiming to lose no more than 2 lbs/week, you risk a larger % of your loss coming from muscle if your deficit is too large.
  • Partner, or dont have to call them anything, refer to them by name. This is so and so, instead of this is my gf/bf so and so.
  • People in the 30's ask people to be their bf or gf still? Didn't happen in my 30s. We just usually confirm exclusivity, and you kind of grow into the relationship from there
  • fat is healthy and essential... i vote peanut butter
  • small deficit of 250 cals/day (weight loss goal of 0.5lbs/week, 0.25kgs/week). larger deficits are more likely to make you feel tired and sluggish, and you don't have a lot to lose.
  • Pants yes, my pants range from 28-32" waste, 28-30 don't fit while in my bulk, 31s and 32's are too big at the end of a cut. Shirts are just a little tighter or looser, but still fit (chest usually stays in the 39" to 41" range
  • find a good lifting program, a slight caloric surplus with adequate protein and time! lifting programs: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10332083/which-lifting-program-is-the-best-for-you/p1

  • Are you only working each muscle group once per week? If so, I would suggest more often Are you following a tried tested and true program? If not, I suggest that route vs. you own design. 5'7" 133 is pretty slim, so do agree with bulking. My profile pic is me at 5'6" 140 lbs, last time I cut I got as low as 136, now at…
  • I disagree about needing more protein, you can eat more, but in a surplus carbs are king (provided you get adequate protein (1 gram per lb of lbm is sufficient). I typically eat 50c/25p/25f in a bulk and 45c, 30p, 25f in a cut, to keep my grams protein about the same, so slight cut in fat and more carbs cut. As for BF%…
  • That may be so, but if you enter the exercise in the database it will most likely give you a higher number than what you really burned (your calculation), so if you don't override MFP's cals with your clac, most likely over estimated. Not to mention with walking. some walking is included in your NEAT, so even if your calc…
  • What lifting program are you following? I would suggest following a tried tested and true one, don't try to create your own unless you are an experienced lifter. here is a link to a list of programs you may want to look at and pick the program on your goal:…
  • but you wont lose faster with exercise, if your deficit is 1000 cals/day you will lose the same amount of weight regardless. Exercise allows you to eat more while hitting your goal deficit/maintnenace/surplus
  • can't stand the stuff.. first bite not bad then after that there is an odd aftertaste, blah. my kids wont even touch it
  • Again, I will say no... TDEE matters, whether you increase your burn from cardio, or just move more (increase non-exercise calories burned, by taking the stair, parking farther away, walk instead to the coffee shop instead of drive) those cals add up, but are not cardio exercise.
  • but if the person ate 1550 and lost 2 lbs/week they lose the same amount of weight... it is the deficit of 1,000 cals/day that is responsible for the weight lose, regardless how you achieved that deficit. In your example what if a third person has higher NEAT and still loses 2 lbs/week at 1800 cals and does no cardio? And…
  • there is, but if someone is new, it may take them a week or so after you swiped right for her to swipe right on you
  • I probably only swipe right for every 10-20 women in my area... way more go to the left. I will only swipe right if they have something in their profile that catches my eye, besides just their pic. If you only have a pic, even if attractive, I swipe left. Looks are def not everything.
  • gotchya, just didn't see how the pie chart, and still don't, go along with preparing one meal.
  • I think that just means that much of your plate is covered by those things. so the protein = meat, complex carbs = some type of starch?? and 50% frut veg is just that, but if you broke it down by macro %, it should look different. So just fill her plate in those portions of that type of food regardless of the % macro…
  • I met my last girlfriend on Bumble, and recently started seeing someone I also met on Bumble. From my understanding that sites that you don't have to match before messaging, women get bombarded with messages from guys, and can be quite overwhelming. Tinder they can't message until you are already matched, and bumble, as…
  • Not to mention, most people cannot push as hard working out fasted, so actually end up burning less cals during the workout then they otherwise would. probably less for the day too, assuming the rest of the day's NEAT is the same.
  • If you added exercise, MFP added calories, which would be at the same % as your goal. so if your goal was 1900 cals at 40%, and you burned 400 cals your goal is now 2300 with 40% so an increase in carbs from 192 to 240. That pie doesn't tell you how close you are to your goal in grams it just breaks out the % of each…

  • If you do the work and fuel yourself properly it will work.
  • for weight loss you don't have to avoid anything or eat anything special... just eat at your calorie goal and overtime you will lose weight. Good luck
  • Then it is either water weight masking the fat loss, or you are eating more than you think you are. Do you weigh solids and measure liquids you consume?
  • 27 lbs? or 127? I assume 127. Set you goal to lose 0.5lbs/week and eat back cals you burned from exercise (or at least half of those)
  • do you have your activity set as very active? is so it assumes a lot of steps. If you set your level as sedentary, you should be getting quite a few "extra" cals. could also be an issue with syncing

  • because most of those steps are included in your base cals as light active
  • No. it means out of what you already logged today, that food was 84% carbs.
