I probably still have a thousand books or so, but after moving so many time in the 5 years, I have converted a fair number of them to kindle format. All my new books are for my kindle. Greatest invention, I carry all my books with me and can even use a different device if I don't happen to have my kindle with me.

Don't sweat the small stuff (and almost everything is small stuff) along those same line, Is this hill worth dying on? And finally what I kept telling my kids as they were growing up. "Life's tough and then you die"

I have been a Browns' fan since 1967 when I learned about football and don't hate myself. I have eternal hope that the Browns' will win it all before I die.

I had all 10 of mine, plus an adopted one, spouses, significant others and grandkids all spend the weekend at my house back on the 7th. It was a mad house, but it was great to have them all together for the first time in a couple of years.

Sorry, there may be more roller coasters at Cedar Point, but nothing compares to The Beast at Kings Island. The Zoo is really nice. If you want to "taste" Cincinnati, You will need to get some Skyline or Gold Star Chili, Graeter's Ice Cream and go to Montgomery Inn for the ribs. If you are willing to make a drive, as…

Sometime in at least once no matter what I am dreaming, I will be driving a vehicle and the brakes will not work. It's always an exciting ride trying to avoid hitting things

Cincinnati style chili (Skyline, Gold Star, etc. ) all have chocolate and cinnamon in it. I miss living there and getting a 5-way. As to regular chili, definitely beans and I like to put my corn bread in the bottom of the bowl and put the chili over it in the bowl. Oh and the corn bread is not the sweet variety. The sweet…

We reached 119F in Phoenix yesterday. As long as you weren't outside too long it didn't feel too bad. There really is something to say about low humidity. It is only suppose to get up to 116F today

My dad died a few years ago and my mom has his ashes on a book shelf. Mom wants her ashes mixed with dad's when she dies. After she dies, I am going to probably get arrested because I am going to jump the fence at Ohio Stadium and spread their ashes in the middle of the Block O. I know my dad would love the idea of his…
