I think 5x5 is probably the best way to start and then personally I would go into PHUL.

@kevinf2380 It's something to look in to. I did it for years before I realized. Mark Rippetoe has an amazing video on YouTube all about bench press form. Check it out if you can. It's crazy how many exercises can hurt the rotator cuff. I try to be very careful now as my shoulders are all sorts of whack. Hope it helps. I…

No it isn't normal for your age at all. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say maybe you flare your elbows when you benchpress. The proper benchpress form is hands directly above shoulders and then drop the elbows along the body. Any other way is hell on your rotator cuff. The hammer strength machine kind of forces you…

Spend sixty minutes doing squats in the air with no weight. I bet it was harder than walking the whole week. And it is still worth next to nothing in comparison to leg day. Do leg day.

In my opinion walking is worth nothing in terms of weight lifting. So yeah you need leg day. Preferably 2. Unless you want to have tiny little legs and super tight calves then by all means. An hour of a real leg day is worth more than 100km walking. Probably more.

I was already pretty lean when I started, but since June7 I have gone from around 142 to 152 with noticeable fat reduction and significant gains in every area. The idea you can't bulk over 0.5lb per week without fat is not true at least in my case. Eat 300 to 400 calories surplus daily. 1.0 to 1.2 grams of protein per lb…

Make egg whites and put them in a blender with protein powder, milk and a banana in the morning. I do this almost every day. Of course blended eggs is a big turn off for some people I tell. This way you get some actual food protein but you don't have to do the work of chewing it.

Just a side note if your hips are generally like they are in the before pictures you have what I consider an issue with your posture. See deviation 2 here. Routine stretches might work it out, but I'm not chiropractor. Completely off topic I know, don't hate me.

She can definitely handle more protein than that if she is working out consistently though.

I kind of agree here. If you want to simply lose weight more power to you, keep it up, but I can't imagine getting all your micros from that. You could take multivitamins but how well those work is a question no one seems to really know the answer to. I eat 2500-2800 calories per day and I rarely go over 75g of sugar in a…

Take glutamine after working out.

JEFIT is by far the best.
