I do feel like some people "take the easy way" by getting surgery and don't learn how to change their lifestyle. They just look at the surgery as a quick fix. Some don't. My HRM is a life saver. Best 80$ I ever spent. I would highly recommend one. The machines and MFP over and underestimate calories burned during workouts. I love my Polar FT4. Any one that has a chest strap and shows calories burned. Not all show cals burned.

There are many that cause gain. Some like Zoloft are weight neutral and lean more towards weight loss.

MEASURE YOURSELF :) Don't weigh in everyday DRINK WATER! Lots! Listen to what the program tells you. Don't get discouraged. I lost weight like crazy first few months and now its slowed sooo much. Good luck!
