<raises hand> Me! I try to eat mostly whole foods, although I have processed foods in moderation occasionally. Probably average 80% whole (depending on your definition). Glad you are enjoying your new lifestyle!

Me, but I'm so far away from a goal weight that I have no idea where I want to end up. I'll try to remember this thread when the time comes

Love belonging to a CSA!! Fresh, local, organic produce AND I get to try things I might not buy on my own. Great for expanding your healthy eating repertoire!

Fruits and veggies at EVERY meal! I see so many people's diaries who look like they barely get any food for their 1400 cal. I eat like a queen on my 1500 and could easily go lower if I had to. Protein/complex carb combos also keep cravings away.

Phew! Not like I need them though! Just good to know they're there

They don't make those Koalas anymore??!! These are sad, sad times.

I lost about 60 pounds with Slim Fast a couple years ago (no, I did not keep it off). I liked the taste and never got sick of them, but I just stopped doing it. Now I try to stay away from processed foods so I am not using any meal replacements. Good thing about SF is that you don't have to think about food all the time.…

My husband is in the newspaper (national) business. Hasn't been good these last few years...and not sure if that is changing anytime soon. Local papers are actually much stronger than national ones due to the lack of good local web info/news for communities. Good luck!

I totally see a difference! Look at your face! That is great. I never take pictures and always wish I did after I lose a lot of weight. Maybe I'll start today!

Yum, will save this for later!

Ours went from $500 to $525. With all the u-pick and pre-picked fruit and veggies we get and also comparing it to the cost of organic produce in the store it's still a great deal!

Don't forget parsnips, rutabaga, and celeriac. All delicious roasted!!!

I used to do it everyday, but now I am seeing a doctor every 2 weeks so I will mostly just do it then. Of course, sometimes I just can't control myself and still step on at home! Tell you what though...whenever I stop weighing myself regularly...that's when the weight creeps back on!!!

I watched your slideshow and it almost made me cry! You are amazing, and look amazing too! What a life changer, I can't even imagine how proud you must feel.

Neat idea!

It can be hard with kids, especially picky ones (which most of them are, right?). The important thing is to be consistent, their tastes WILL adapt as long as you stick with it. I have a rule of a fruit at every meal, which has really made mine expand their repertoire of fruits so as not to get bored. Sometimes though, kids…

Iced green tea sweetened with a bit of honey or agave nectar; a 1/2 juice 1/2 seltzer drink with a slice of fruit in it; maybe something warm that you can savor like herbal tea, or hot apple cider? Drinking like smoking is as much about the ritual as it is the beverage, so make your drink something you enjoy leisurely…

There are so many great vegan recipes! Go to the website vegnews.com and sign up for their free e-newsletter. They send recipes right to you and have ones on their site as well. I used to subscribe to the Vegetarian Times (another great mag) which always had delicious recipes. I think mexican style dishes are a great way…

I hadn't really made any specific ones but let's see: 1) try more new recipes 2) eat out less often 3) buy more organic 4) eat a fruit with every meal 5) pay attention to portion sizes Even though I'm already a vegetarian, drink just water, and eat whole grain products, these other things are areas for improvement! Best of…

I LOVE kale chips! I think I agree with most of the posters here, salt you add on your own while cooking is OK as long as you are using appropriate amounts. It's the processed food that supplies all that excess sodium, and most of the time in the most unexpected things!!
