Tracy - imo, you stand a better chance of keeping weight off with a WFPB lifestyle and by doing the same things you did to lose. Once you hit goal, add in a little more fruit, nuts, seeds, etc. Stay far away from the vegan junk food and you’ll do great. No need to be scared, just stay on top of it. It’s been nearly 3 years…

@hulket I would encourage you to listen to the “Losing 100 Pounds with Phit and Phat” podcast (if you don’t mind the F bomb). The host is a firm believer in eating when hungry and stopping when satisfied. She offers a ton of practical advice about making small changes. Start with the FB Live episode called “The Best Small…

Keep doing exactly what you’re doing!

Getting married and trying to keep up with hubs (food and drink). At the same time stopping exercise to spend more time together. Piled on about 50# in the first 10 years.

Giant salad with scrambled eggs for the win. Followed by a GIANT bowl of berries (straw, black, blue + rasp) with a sprinkle of Quest salted caramel PP and a dash of warm water to get it syrupy. All filled up.

Instant pot to the rescue.

Butternut squash, toasted with a sprinkle of pecans is my jam. And delicate. Also love sautéed spinach with garlic, spiraled kohlrabi and I could eat roasted garlic by the pound. Cauliflower is fantastic. Don’t even get me started on fruit.

I’ve had one of every Apple Watch, and it’s been pretty consistent from the first to the most recent.

If you’re set to active (or anything other than sedentary), MFP has a number built in. You only get credit for calories above and beyond that number. Also, if you use the workout function, you’ll see that workout “credited”

SHOES!! Get really good ones. Made for walking. You’ll be amazed. Don’t ever, ever skimp on shoes. And replace them regularly.

Sure it can be done, but wouldn’t it suck to white knuckle starve for 60 days, lose 20#, then gain it back on vacay?

Fortunately, I enjoy exercise and do a lot. But yoga still kicks my *kitten*. Try it again if you didn’t HATE it. Many, many online classes you can do at home, alone, inside.

Dazzle them them with wit and intellect. They can compliment you on how smart you are. Or creative, or well dressed or funny, or fast or strong or many, many other things.

Mayo on fish? Yuck

WFPB here, technically Veggan (I eat some eggs). Potatoes of all varieties are your friend. I keep small steamed potatoes on hand for snacks a roasted sweet potatoes. They are super filling.

I thought I was the only one....

Check, check and check. Except I always write it down - even the ugliest.

There may be nothing more delicious on planet earth than a cinnamon brown sugar frosted pop tart. I literally have to avoid that aisle altogether. Or duck in with blinders on to grab a bag of coffee.

It’s so odd how IBS can be so different for people. I had it for years and years, diarrhea and cramps after most meals. What worked for me was cutting out drinking pretty much completely and getting lots of sleep and exercise. From a diet standpoint, cutting meat and dairy made all the difference.
-
OP - also focus on your nutrients. Are you getting adequate protein? Water? Sleep? I was feeling VERY run down in December and checked my levels of magnesium, iron, zinc and vitamin D — all were low. Focused on eating foods that were high in these nutrients and felt better within a week.

+1 on the spray tan

Any chance it’s the regular flu?

I would strongly suggest a professional fitting. I was sooooo far off my correct size, I never would have gotten it right. And you have to think they’ve seen it all.
-
But TDEE already has exercise built in, so a bit different formula. Try it for a few weeks, worst case you can cut by 100 or so until the scale moves

Perhaps the gallon of water a day is hiding any loss....
-
I’m 5-7” and active and MFP ain’t never gave me 2000. Even to maintain. But roll with it and adjust accordingly
-
Get the 10 and enjoy the heck out of it now!! Your shape and style may be completely different at goal.
-
For perspective, it took me 3 years to lose 99#

This ain’t exactly the picture of success, but keepin it real...

You don’t mention calories or deficit. The key components to weight loss. And patience, grasshopper.
