Part 1: too much fiber isn’t the problem, there’s something in there that’s causing the bloat. Try no dairy for a few weeks and/or wheat (gluten) which are the two most likely culprits. You might also want to consider having fewer, larger meals to give your body time to digest. With six meals, you must be pretty much…

Woot! Thank you for sharing your story!

You keep it off the same way you took it off, but with a handful more calories.
-
Keep walking

I’ve never had acne, but my skins looks way better after stopping dairy
-
No advice on the mental side, but I will suggest you keep low calories density foods on hand. Better to binge on fruit and vegetables than chips and ice cream.
-
It’s the protein powder. Vegan powders don’t work.

I went from combo to progesterone only for a few months, then stopped altogether. Zero symptoms in fact, I felt a heck of a lot better.

Sounds like a fun spot. Second on good shoes and try foam rolling for self massage. Plus, it’s a Nice quiet activity for city living.

From the app, click diary tab, then use the little down arrow in the top center next to the word “today”

Cut screen time. That is all.

@sijomial good points. Why wait til Spring? Because I’m literally hanging on by my fingernails to maintain as it is. If spring comes and goes and I’m still near todays’s weight, that alone will be a huge win!

I’m post menopausal, and have chosen not to do HRT, no thyroid issues that I know of. I’m WFPB, so very high carb and have lost and maintained fine. There are many approaches, you need to find which is best for your body.

Order one from amazon for $12 and leave it for the next folks. Sounds like a lovely few months.

Thanks gang. Quick stats, I’m 5-7”, 135 and 24% bf. I’d really like to build muscle in my shoulders arm and back to balance out my my large butt and thighs (where I hold the vast majority of fat). I’ve been lifting for 3 years during my losing phase, but got periodically sidetracked due to shoulder injuries resulting in…

Feeling good is WAY more important than any sill tool or chart.

Team Recomp — seriously, how do you know if this is working? I know it takes a long time and I need to keep the faith, but I’ve seen zero change in 3 months. Same weight (+/- 5# or so), getting stronger but no visible signs of improvement or change. What gives?

More fiber!!
-
I wish everyone luck. Personally, I will be thrilled if I make it through the rest of the year at exactly the as I am right now. I’ll tackle the last 5 after the holidays.

Butternut squash roasted with chopped pecans!

You don’t have to have your phone at all to listen to music. Just make a playlist and port it to the watch app and set it to auto launch with a workout. Only bummer is it plays in the same order — no way that I’ve found to shuffle. Even stupid Siri can’t help with that.

Accounting for oil/dressings on greens? 20# in a month is a lot.?its not the vegetables.
-
@crazyravr it’s just a regular old food processor, maybe 6 cup-ish. And for the record, I don’t use any xanthan. Just ice, unsweet almond milk, Splenda drops and quest pp.
-
What kind of PP did you use? Was it whey or whey/casein blend? Plant based powders really don’t work well. And does your milk have fat (or did you add anything with fat, like peanut butter, nuts, etc)? Any fat will make it not fluff.

Yes. It’s my absolute #1 problem. I would like to have a rule that I only eat what I bring, but that quickly flies out the window for home made baked goods
-
I cook on Sundays and eat the portioned out roasted veggies through the following Saturday. Never had a problem as long as they’re refrigerated
-
If I brought a tub of jif whips into my house, I would eat it within an hour. Seriously. I either use PB2, or buy the single packs of Barney butter that are 90 cals.

@klsn I’m 53. I walk 12k every day without fail and have not missed in over 1000 days. I do Pilates 5x a week, and strength train 3x per week. I also run in the summer months when it’s warm and light in the morning. My maintenance range is 125-135, so I’m at the top end right now (started at 220). I eat 2100 to maintain…

I don’t have kids, but my career has always taken the front seat. With that came a LOT of travel, conferences, entertainment, etc. and the time I had at home with hubs, I rarely felt like cooking (and usually felt like drinking). My new city and job are more relaxed, less stress and way more me time. I won’t say it’s been…

I’m WFPB and do not count macros. But if I did, it would be something like 75/15/10. Vegan and low carb is possible I suppose, but sounds miserable. I’d suggest you pick a horse and go with it.
