I think this is a load of crap. Genetics load the gun, lifestyle pulls the trigger. For grins, please watch the movie Forks Over Knives and see a functional medicine professional.

I lost #99 between 50 and 53. It can be done. Where’s @CarvedTones?

You are awesome. I might have shed a little tear over this one. You are patient, consistent and persistent. All wonderful qualities.

5-7” female here. At 220 I was a size 20, at 121 I was a 0/2. There were many, many pants in between.

100% agree with above poster. Add spinach to whole eggs. Broccoli with fish/chicken. Quinoa or brown rice in lieu of sweet potato sometimes. Summer squashes, avocado, beans, fruit. More plant variety is always good!

@rainbow198 if I could do just this ONE thing, my life would be so much easier.... “....but stop eating when I'm close to getting full.”

Having once eaten an entire tub of Jif Whips in one sitting, I now buy Barney Butter in teeny 90 cal packages

Not sure you want tough feet. What about just some nice soft padded socks?

Late July chips are freakin delicious! Especially the lime ones. With a Corona. Okay, I’m not helping here.

I’ve always have very narrow shoulders and am trying super hard to get them bigger. Mine barely hold a strap on a sundress. I think big shoulders are beautiful on men and women. Trade?

Eat to your calorie goal, not under and monitor. Could just be initial water whoosh. If your rate stays higher than you like, or if you feel like crap, eat more.

Hope it ended well ;) when I get SUPER drunk I inevitability end up at the Taco Bell Drive-thru.

I’m seriously begging you to start lifting now. There is zero reason to wait and I promise you will be much happier with the end result.

Thanks @elisa123gal either 125 or 135 (or anywhere in between) is a much better alternative than 220 where I started, so I’m hanging in there! Have a great weekend.

@sijomial this sounds like a particularly brutal time for you and your family. Prayers that your FIL is comfortable and your BIL is a fighter. Hang in there.

I started in 2012, so about the same. It’s practically like we grew up together :)

It’s not humanly possible to eat 1/3 of a Cadbury cream Egg. NOT. POSSIBLE. I defy anyone to challenge that! :D

As of today, I’m back out of scream territory, but not yet back in range (132-138). I flat refuse to buy new shorts for vacation, so that gives me motivation. And it’s FINALLY starting to warm up!

Not sure why they give you confetti on the gazillionth time you hit the same weight, but I was happy to see this today. It means I’m back to 145 and within 7# of my range (132-138). Still 20# over where I was this day last year, but it’s progress. Today will be tough, nasty storm, stuck inside and I’m home alone with the…

@middlehaitch you crack me up. Free Pilates seems well worth the wait. Glad you enjoyed your vacay. You sound like so much fun!

I went vegetarian first, and then cut dairy (went vegan). My skin improved dramatically with no dairy, so I stuck with it.
-
@sunscoutie are you eating enough? Have you changed your diet? Are you getting enough magnesium?
-
have you tried foam rolling your quads?

I’m not a huge chocolate fan, with one exception Cadbury eggs. I could eat 20 in one sitting if I had them. Thank God, I don’t.
-
I don’t like chocolate (I know) but agree the Vega Mocha is Delicious.

Ditto. And it took YEARS for my hair to bounce back. Take it slow.
-
@livingtheleandream, my puppy is from Verona! Have fun.

I’m about the same as high school, but lost and gained hundreds (maybe thousands) of pounds in the span of 30 years between then and now. Yours sounds like a much, much better plan.
