Hi, I'm Helena (Hel - ee - nuh). :-) Though I've been called everything. I'm 28, live and work in the oil and gas industry as an engineer in East Texas. I joined this challenge because I like the idea of a long-term goal like this. I have a total of about 100.2 pounds more to get to the top of my healthy weight range (I'm…

214? (And not because you look like it at all!). The BMI tables on the NIH website put right at 174.2 at the line from 30 - 29.9 BMI for 5'4" - obese to overweight transition. I know the number because I am also 5'4" and that's an interim goal down the road. So adding 40 to that...? But I don't believe you're that weight.

You are amazing. I do believe I want to be your friend.

You look amazing!! I'm 5'4" too but have quite a bit more to lose - but you are very good inspiration for where I will get to!

I, too, had to have a burger and fries. And today, I just decided to do it. So a Classic Smashburger with Sweet Potato Smash Fries it is. But props to you for making at home!!

That is fantastic!! Congratulations - what an achievement!!

While logging, in a committed fashion? Last Saturday, over 1100 over. But really what I wanted to say is I love your ticker picture, Jonnythan.

Puppy dog and I walked 4.25 miles in 1:13:36 and burned 524 calories, according to my HRM. AWESOME way to start the weekend - doing something good for myself physically and mentally!! Definitely an NSV when usually I just lay around and watch the tv on Saturday mornings.

I had the salad I made for lunch. Working in the oil/gas field, although I have a primarily office-based job, I find myself at wellsite and facility locations a lot. Today we were out until lunch, and I hadn't brought my salad with me. We went to Subway and I ate my pre-planned Subway meal. Brought home my salad that I had…

I had a half salad/half sandwich for dinner at Panera. Planned ahead for going out, knew what I could get and what I wanted. When they asked me what I wanted with it (chips, baguette, or apple), I picked the apple. Brought me my food, and accidentally brought the baguette. I asked if I could get the apple, which I…

This - exactly this. I could have written this entirely.
