Life is way too short to not enjoy the finer things in life! I'm not going to watch every little morsel that goes into my body! There are things that are much worse!

Make chili, sloppy joes and freeze in seperate containers for quick future meals.

I am so proud of you! For the next year put away the $$$$ and treat yourself & loved one to a special trip!!! I wish my 50 year old boyfriend would quit....he's been smoking for 30+ years! Its frustrating....what I save for my retirement monthly, he burns up in smokes....My biggest fear is being alone because of this crazy…

That's the only exercise I really do, besides golfing. I should use free weights but don't. If I can't lose weight by diet & walking then screw it!

I have some at home.....not bad if your totally in a pinch but really eating a healthy meal is way more satifying than just a "liquid lunch". My intentions are good to start but don't really because its ony drinking and not eatting. I don't reccomend it!

Hi Cathy, It is hard to start a new habit! But as you keep going it will feel really strange if you miss a day! I plan my meals ahead of time and log them in...ie. the night before I will log my breakfast & lunch and then after my exercise I will know how much I can have for supper. Hope this helps! You can do it!

I weigh myself every Monday first thing in the morning. I've kept a journal for the past 11 years! It's really neat to look back and compare. You'll be amazed how much your body can & will change in the years if you allow it too!

What kind of protein powder do you use? Brand name? Where do you purchase it? I've never made protein shakes before. Any adivce or info is much appreciated.
