I can drive without the steering wheel hitting my stomach and I can grad something off the floor of the car in front of me without undoing my seat belt:laugh:

My husband told me a couple weeks ago that I used to look like grimace (from Mcdonald's) but that I was getting a shape now. I had to laugh, he tries to compliment me but it doesn't always come out the right way.

I joined the end of Oct (to help a friend only) really had no intentions of doing is seriously. Tomorrow will be 105 days of continuous logging and I have lost 47 lbs. This is the best thing I could have done:)

We don't usually celebrate Valentine's day esp since my husband's bday is today but this year my husband knew I really wanted some open heart jewelry by Jane Seymore and he bought me a set as a combination Valentine's Day gift and to let me know he is proud of me for working so hard to lose weight. I already got them and…

First it depends on which DVD you are doing. Some of her dvd's are shorter times. I have one that u can do 5 miles in a hour. It also depends on your weight. I'm a heavier weight so I burn more but the more I lose the less I burn. The website www.caloriesperhour.com has different walking calculators. They have one that you…

That is an awesome week for all! Congrats to everyone! The most important thing that I've learned since joining MFP is that I can still enjoy food. I can still go out to eat with friends or family and eat things that I like I just need to do it in moderation. I can still have chocolate just not eat 2 or 3 full size candy…

For sure but I love having a big family, kinda wish at times we had another but hubby made sure that wasn't going to happen after the 3 yr old was born, lol.

I have 2 boys Aaron Matthew (15) and Triston Alexander (11) and 3 girls Cierra Renee' (10) Sydnee Noel (8) and Kennidy Ann (3)

I understand completely. I have about 160 lbs to lose and thanks to MFP and the support I have gotten I have lost 35 of it. Still along way to go but for once it's something I feel I can accomplish. Feel free to add me if you'd like, we all need as much support as we can get.

That is a great idea! I too have a lot of weight to lose and the 35 lbs I have lost don't really show up that well. I know it's the weight of my 3 yr old but doing something like that will help me see how far I've come as well! Congrats on your wonderful weight loss, def makes me want to keep going:)

That's great! Your son had a blast too I bet:)

I did that when I was a teenager and managed to keep it off for about 7 years. Then I had kids. Over the last 12 years I have gone from 150ish to over 300. I know that doing it that way can seem easy but in the long run I want this to be PERMANENT not a quick fix. And I know that I screwed up my body doing it the other…

I just went and shoveled snow for about 45 minutes. Really good workout and then you can watch your shows after:happy:

I totally get that one! It's been 12 years since I was skinny, who can remember that feeling after all those years? I wanted the "good" things now who cares what it did to my body? But 3 months since starting MFP and my 3 yr old's weight gone I can start to see what skinny felt like all those years ago. I have along way to…

I am a SAHM mom to 5 kids ages 3 up to 15:)

That's exactly what I was thinking! I want that thing SKINNY, lol!

I do. I have a sweater on all day long except while I'm exercising. That seems to be the only time I'm hot anymore:)

I'm from Ohio but don't live in Columbus. I live about an hour or so from Toledo.

You aren't the only one. Most days I don't eat most of my exercise calories because I can't even imagine eating anymore. I'm usually around 12-1400 and call it good. Hard to believe that I could go to Mcdonald's for lunch get a huge meal. eat it all and then munch on my husbands or kids meals and still want more. And that…

I have the Ea Active, don't have the 2 yet. I love the Ea Active. So much fun and can always change your workout routines so you never get bored. I'm planning on getting the 2 but thinking will prob get it for the 360 kinect so that my husband and I can do whatever we want at the same time.

Wow! 200 days and 70 lbs! That is SO inspiring! You look amazing, keep up the GREAT work:)
-
I'm feeling yucky too. I thought about just blowing off the day but I exercised instead. I realized that I felt better while I was doing it so I just kept going and ended up burning over 2000 calories!

I was reading the book that came with the wii and i read where it said that the BMI is based for adults because it's harder to do with the children. Don't worry about it. She's young, active, healthy. Let her play with the wii and get some activity in if nothing else but let her be 3 and not sweat the stuff that I'm sure…

If you continue with MFP after wards there is a place to adjust your calories for maintaining so you should be good if you stay with that:)
-
You can do it! I know you can beat the food! Sweetestthing=1 temptation and food=0. Have faith that you have learned and won't give in because we do!

Most of those you listed but most of all I will not miss one of my kids coming home upset because someone called their mom fat. It doesn't bother me, after all I am but it does bother me that my kids have to hear that and are upset about it. And I won't miss feeling like my husband would rather be with someone else and is…

A lot of times you can check out the website and it will have the nutritional info on there. I check the place I'm going before I go and see to get an idea what I want. Bob Evans has a Be Fit menu and the stuff is SO good and not a ton of calories

Absolutely! That's what helps me in the LONG road I have ahead of me. I have bought a cute new shirt, some perfume, planning on getting my hair cut and colored, when I reach 50 lbs lost I'm buying myself a cute necklace and earrings from a jewelry store that I've been wanting but never bothered to buy. Another one is…
