I've been using the kiddie plates my kids eat off of, and often their smaller silverware too - takes longer to eat the food, and it's already a smaller portion than before, and the plate still looks full - which is part of the mental thing I have with eating less- full plate, but not feeling deprived of anything..

I have to say my desk job is probably WAY better for me than some of my previous jobs- managing bakeries! I managed a bakery and also was a supervisor at a Mrs. Fields' Cookies. I NEVER got tired of that stuff- there was always something new and different to try at the other bakery (it had a deli too).

I still play the piano, and the bells (xylophone type) and now I've added Handbells too - I'm the handbell choir director and the women's quartet (vocal) director/accompanist, and alto/soprano - depending on the song at our church.
