1. to get below 160 is the most immediate goal 2. to make a certain person "pea green with envy," to quote Scarlet O'hara  3. to fit into my old clothes

Everyone ready for tonight's episode?

I just did D1 of W3, but wanted to comment about W2... I liked W2 better than W1 because there were fewer intervals of running and also my body was beginning to adjust and I didn't feel sore or have hurt ankles and knees anymore. In fact, by D3, I hit some kind of stride where the running was not difficult at all.

WOW!! Lucky!

I love the MFP goal setter and food/exercise diaries.... Try following MFP's calorie requirements and exercise requirements. That may help you figure out why you are only maintaining and not losing.

Congratulations! This is so exciting! Keep up the good work

The cider mill sounds fun, Wannabe! Hope it's not raining for you later, but if it is, I say go for it anyway...

For me, it depends on the situation of why I'm going out to eat. If, like last night, it's a special occassion that only happens once a month or so, I'll just order whatever I want (including desert!) and only eat half of it. If it's a wednesday, and me and the man just don't feel like cooking, there are a handful of…

BREAKFAST: --instant oatmeal --coffee LUNCH: --slim fast bar DINNER: --5oz Roast beef / Pot roast (my husband said it's pot roast, I call it roast beef; dunno the difference, I guess) --2 pieces bread w/ butter --salad

Sargento Salad Finishers have really helped me to look forward to eating salads every day. It adds about 120-150 calories to your salad, depending on what kind you get. My favorite is the cranberry, pecan, and asiago cheese combo. My husband loves the Chef Salad mix (ham, turkey, cheese, and croutons).

good job! That is what I need to do too

I felt the same way after I got mine put in. I was also worried it was going to come out. I think it was like 10 weeks that I had bleeding after it was put in. :( But now, over a year later, I love having it! Can't remember what mine's called, but I don't think it's the Mirena one.

Thanks guys :) I appreciate the encouragement.

ya, my knee-jerk reaction is to starve myself in response to over-eating... The last thing I want to do is exercise more!  But I figure that is probably the better thing to do...
-
That's awesome! Did you listen to a podcast or anything? How'd you know when to run/walk?
-
Awesome progress! Thanks for sharing how you did it as well. All that advice was really good.

For me, I think, "oh well, I better get this *kitten* over with." haha! ya, not the most motivational, huh? Well, also when I wake up at like 7:30, and I know my baby is going to be up in a half an hour or so, there is no point in going back to sleep, I think, "Oh well, I have nothing else to do and it's pointless to go…

wrestle with my husband, dance along with "Shimmy" (belly dance instructional tv show)

shellybelly, are you doing W1? You mentioned you'd been a runner before, so I wondered if W1 might be a little slow for you...?
-
Ya, I'm very suspicious of her because she acts all innocent "Oh, I didn't realize this is what would happen!" as everything falls expertly in place to her benefit.... I can't wait to see what happens next week; I hope she pays!

Ya, I didn't like to see Coach Mo get yelled at, but Jillian was right. If he sticks by his partner and supports her while she is making HUGE mistakes, she sure isn't going to learn. As I was watching her knife the other players in the back last night, I couldn't help but think she might be a plant? Sometimes these reality…

I agree, WannabeaCullen, after the first interval of W1D1, I thought, "oh, I must be a little advanced for this, I should skip to W2." GLAD I DIDN'T!! By the end of W1D1, I realized that I was not at all advanced and W1 was just where I needed to be! I did W2D1 yesterday, and I found it to be equally challenging, but in…

Ya, was anyone else crying? Those two were so sweet. What a huge sacrifice! I hope they are rewarded for it. ...and Tracy..... ooooh, I can't wait to see what happens next week. grrrrr.... She made some huge mistakes. Taking that temptation where she got to choose who will weigh in was a big mistake. Whether it actually…

She is definitely off her rocker. Even though it really wasn't her fault that two ppl had to leave, I was so mad at her and felt like she was to blame!
-
i would be too!!

Okay, the chick on the green team who lost her entire family? SHE is definitely who I am rooting for! That or coach Mo

What time does it come on? and what channel?

Twinmama, I agree, you do have to be organized; but what do you mean "better to take it out on your hubby than your kids?" What is it that you're taking out? Frustration? Since the divorce was announced, I heard Kate mention the loneliness at the end of the day. When the kids are in bed - or, later, when they move out -…

My heart goes out to you. Girls can make life hell for other little girls. One thought I had is to see if there are volunteer opportunities at your daughter's school. There may even be something that works with your employment situation. In my town, we have "Communities in Schools." I don't know if its a gov't program or…

I had to use a podcast mp3 because I'm also running outside and I don't have a stopwatch or anything. I would not be able to do c25k without the podcast to tell me when to start and stop. The one I found was at http://www.ullreys.com/robert/Podcasts/page4/page4.html I'm not technically proficient, so I do not know how my…
