I trust my fitbit as far as estimating steps etc but I don't even look at the calories burned part.... I view these things as a guideline rather than an exact science.

Hey sorry I haven't been back on here recently, I mostly use MFP on my phone. Thanks for all the nice replies and adds! Nice to meet you all :D

Had a quick skim through the other answers but sorry if this has been suggested, what about a tortilla/spanish omelette (very tasty when cold) with salad? I've also discovered the Quorn cold meat type slices as I'm a veggie and they're really low in cals (I think it's about 30cals for two slices of most of them), I quite…

I'm intrigued by this as well, my husband thought my calorie goal sounded too low at approx. 1500 per day and I was just maintaining, so I decided to review it and upped my activity levels and I'm now on just over 1700 cals a day. OP I try and cook in bulk and freeze leftovers and if I have stuff in the fridge that's about to go out of date I try and get creative, sometimes the combinations sound a bit odd but end up lovely (then there's the other times... but lets not dwell on that). Also we have a local…

I'm a SAHM until september when I go back to Uni, my two eldest are at school during the day but my daughter is home with me. She's three and I either go to the gym/running when she's at nursery in the morning or when we're home I'll stick on an exercise dvd and she joins in or just plays round me! I also have a yoga app…

I have a three yr old daughter too and some of our favourite lunches are: omelettes - you can add loads of veggies and cheese to them, wraps, quesadillas, salads with eggs, potatoes, ham/cold meat (for her, I'm a veggie), pitta breads with cream cheese/salad, cous-cous, egg fried rice. Obviously not all fo these might be…

Bumped into a friend who told me about this book this morning, she said she really enjoyed it so I downloaded it for my Kindle earlier on.
