LOL..I must be totally anal, I track just about everything!! Unless I really can't find or figure out the calories myself, then I guess-timate it.

I tend to want to snack out of bordem especially when I sit down at the end of the day and watch TV..so I find what helps is drinking a glass of ice water or sugar free anything first, if I'm still "hungry" I try to go for something higher in fiber. My go to snack is frosted mini wheat's, one cup. It takes a while to chew…

Who couldn't use more friends AND support?! I just turned 42,mom of two, former diabetic, lost 50 lbs 3 years ago, gained 20 back(we all know how that goes)...trying to lose 35lbs now...it's just taking FOREVERRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

Depending on what my calories have already been for the day..6 or 12" wheat, Turkey breast,no cheese, spinach, all veggies, except jalapenos,vinegar only!! (and if I'm feeling especially daring I'll go for the avocado):smile:

I LOVE EGGPLANT!!! I have used it in almost everything, you can peel it and slice it thin,in rounds,chunks,strips...whatever you want and put it in whatever you want...omelets,stir fry,pizza,lasagna, it's just one of those veggies that you either like, or you don't! :smile:

PLEASE tell me your joking!!!! ....she REALLY already notices her weight gain surely, if you do. I would definitely take a different approach and maybe start introducing healthier meals and inviting her to do different activities with you...Good Luck on this one!

I think everything in moderation..and if you find something that works for you, great! Personally given things up one at a time work, or starting something new, little by little is easier then going full throttle for some...you have to do you!

I totally agree! It really makes you accountable...my metabolism is just not what it used to be, much harder to lose and keep the weight off.
