I want in!! Thanks!
-
I'm on the last ten too! Add me~~~!

It's not just you! All too familiar with the "fat day" feelings, I'm in for self-confidence too. Add me. :)

Mong-Ge. Which according to my Korean translator is "sea squirt". Raw. It tasted like the ocean and had the texture of a blood clot.

Basically just seconding what everyone else has says, but I failed twice before and I'm now on week 7. I'm also a 25 year old female and I was/am not overweight either. And I had been doing other forms of cardio for a few months before I decided to try running so I was pretty surprised and discouraged when I had a really…

I went shopping on my lunch break and spent $100 on pants primarily because I fit in a size 2. And I know Express pants run large, but my vanity was running larger. Spent too much time there and got back to work LATE. And didn't even eat lunch. :(

I sometimes use more whites than yolks and save the yolks. I use them in baking (I might replace one of the eggs in the recipe with two yolks). Or as a hair mask. Or if I can't use them I put them in the compost bin--they're great for my garden.

I started at 24... currently 22.75. And in the last month I've only lost .25 on each. :( It's the most stubborn fat deposit for me. I'd love to hit 19 but I don't see it happening any time soon.

Amen. I always get it with honey mustard and and every veggie. I have yet to grow tired of it.

I never weigh within 2 days before or 3 days after starting. I put on up to 6 lb and half a pant size most months. I have found that drinking a lot more water than usual (and keeping away from the tempting salty snacks) really helps me to feel way less bloated, but still... for my sanity... I don't weigh in.

Down 1.4 this week and hit my first GW! (Actually exceeded it by .2 lb) :) Hooray for new goals!
-
Congrats!!! I also hit my first GW today! :) Thinking about what my next goal should be..

Midwesterner here! (But I totally say "soda" and not "pop"... I know... I should be kicked out of the Midwestern alliance.) From Detroit, MI. :)

These are amazing! http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/guy-fieri/morgans-veggie-patties-recipe/index.html Seriously one of my favourite recipes ever. Everyone in my house prefers them to actual hamburgers most of the time. They do take a lot of ingredients and prep work, but it's so worth it. You can use any kind of beans…

Sure, I don't go around calling myself a pescetarian... but I don't have a problem with anyone who does. What does it matter how someone wants to call themself? I agree with you. You could have said "Any-non-meat-eating-except-for-fish-and-poulty people out there?" but your topic was just a more condensed way of seeking…

I have to agree with everyone above. I eat tilapia a lot, but if you're a big fish-eater, it's kind of tasteless. (In comparison to other types.) That's why I like it as a taco or sandwich with some sort of sauce or cilantro-mayo (fresh cilantro+light mayo+squirt of lime juice, all blended = divine), or blackened. Kinda…

For sure! I swear... this is a mom thing. My mom and I have a pretty decent relationship, but I swear she criticizes every new thing I start. Seriously? What's so wrong about wanting to get healthy? If you ever want to exchange meatless meal ideas, hit me up!

Hahah. Congrats! I seriously considered posting a very similar NSV the other day. I haven't lost enough to go down a size yet, but I have gone from "I will cut you if you put my pants in the dryer because there is no way I will ever get them back on again" to "I have to put my pants in the dryer ON HIGH for 35 minutes…

I just started level 2 last night. By day 3 of level one (when my legs started to stop hurting) I was supplementing with extra cardio because it didn't feel like enough. Not every day, but at least 3 or 4 days a week I add it in. In combination with diet I have a lost a couple pounds since I started the shred, but I don't…

First of all, I'm really sorry for your frustration... I know you said you weren't looking for advice... BUT just in case this is helpful in the least... Several months ago I became a (fish-eating) vegetarian (and also cut down on dairy and a few other things) for health reasons--some of which are specific to my condition,…

This happened to a friend of mine at a restaurant... but I guess there must not have been sugar on the table because what he handed to my friend was a packet of Sweet 'n' Low. Still kinda worked since she was under 4'11". Not sure if this even counts as a pick up line but the worst thing I had said to me in a bar was, "If…

Was nervous to weigh in today because I weighed in last week after 48 hours of the flu and was sure my number was artificially low due to inability to keep anything down... but... lost 1.4lbs this week! Up to 14.8 total so far, just 1.2lbs from my first goal!
-
Could be worse... around here we have a dentist whose last name is spelled (I think) Uhrin, but pronounced "urine".
-
Love me some crustaceans!
-
Pescetarian, but no chicken meat...
-
That restaurant portions were of a normal size and it wasn't only natural, but maybe even necessary to clean the plate--fries and all.
-
Hahah. I laughed so hard when I read this. I cannot tell you how instrumental malt-o-meal and watered down condensed soup were to keeping me alive in college. Congrats on your achievement!

Have you heard what's making headlines lately? --Corduroy pillows!

This used to be me as well. A few things I learned: 1. I wasn't eating enough during the day. For me, a medium/light breakfast, a large lunch, and a small dinner stave off nighttime hunger. 2. Change your eating and studying habits. Don't eat in front of the t.v. or computer, on the couch, at your desk... or wherever you…

I have that bikini in the last pic... You look much better in it. :)
