I don't like the implications that a woman needs some sort of approval from a man in order to be happy. But I do think that a lot of people (not just women) thrive on approval or "desire", I guess, from other people in order to feel good about themselves. At least, I know I do. So yeah, while this might be slightly true,…

Same. After so many attempts at waxing and making a huge mess and only having semi-okay results, I finally got an epilator. My legs are really sensitive, so shaving is really painful and that pain lasts for days. The pain of using an epilator lasts for a few seconds! That's the reason why I tried waxing all the time, but I…

Okay, I guess I'm a fool. Or I know MANY people who grew up in single-parent households and they are perfectly normal, wonderful people. I'm not saying that a father figure isn't beneficial, but it is not necessary to have a good upbringing.

First of all, you don't know her situation, so you shouldn't assume what happened. There are plenty of ways to have protected sex that still results in pregnancy. And just because a kid doesn't have an active father, that means it's "some poor kid"? As if a father figure is absolutely needed and that a woman can't…

Hahahahahah bye I'm dead now.

I will give him credit where it's due! The songs he wrote for the Potter musicals were fantastic! And he's definitely talented in that aspect. But other than that, I really just can't stand anything about him. Even before the Glee craze, when I only knew him from Starkid, there was something about him that just really…

I actually don't mind him all that much, probably mostly because I read the book shortly before the movie came out, so I already knew the cast, so when I read it, he is who I pictured. Also, I don't really care about Peeta all that much so I was just like whatever lol.

I haven't even seen it yet because it's not even out and won't be out for a while BUT, the dude that they cast as Finnick in the new Hunger Games movie.... I don't even know his name or his acting capabilities I'm just upset because he's white and Finnick is NOT. WHITE.

I'm pretty much obsessed with makeup. It's just so much fun! I love Urban Decay. It's probably my favourite brand of makeup. I also use a lot of NYX because it's really inexpensive and relatively decent. And Smashbox is good too! I use Smashbox foundation primer and their Hyperlash mascara is my FAAAVOURITE. I've been…

Yay! This thread was revived and I didn't do it myself!!!! And oh man, I've already watched all of the Drag Becomes Him videos multiple times (to the point where I have them basically memorized) as well as all of the Monsoon Season videos and... I mean, I'm kind of a huge stalker of Jinkx (in a respectful way!) I can't…

I mean, you're talking about a CHILD here. Regardless of the fact that she's a famous child with her own television show, she's still just a CHILD. Like her or not, whatever, but to say that about a kid is...kind of messed up?

Is this just referring to like, the "unscripted" people-living-their-lives type reality show or does it also include competition reality shows? because some of the people on the competition type reality shows actually have legitimate talent and deserve recognition! (says the girl who is obsessed with performers who got…

Okay. There you go :)

I share a birthday with Taye Diggs. He is excruciatingly attractive. I win.

Yes. I don't understand all the hate Kristen Stewart gets. I mean, no, she's certainly not the best actor, but she isn't even close to being the worst. And she's really cute......

Plot device characters. Y'know, the characters who aren't fully developed or realized and are really only there to help move the plot along (prime example: Ellen Page's character in Inception.) I understand that they can sometimes be important! But! They annoy me.

The thing I love about Tarantino is his ability to write really good, believable, relevant dialogue. I've only seen a handful of his movies, but the dialogue has always been my favourite part of almost all of them. A lot of people that I've talked to complain that there's too much talking, but I don't mind it because it's…

Oh! What was that Emma Stone movie where like, she pretends to have sex with everybody and stuff? IMDB help me out here... Easy A! Didn't like that one. Didn't think it was funny. Thought it was kind of terrible. Everybody else I know loves it.

Darren Criss. Ughhhhh he is invading and ruining my life. I don't even know what it is about him that bothers me so much, but when I see his face, I just get filled with such rage.

The Social Network. I remember when it came out and it was nominated for all these awards and everyone was going crazy over it so I watched it and I was like "...That was it?" I felt like I spent the whole movie waiting for something to happen and it never really did. I'm sure there are plenty more that I can't think of…

"Pipe job?" Just a little bit of Jinkx Monsoon being

Yes, it is a High School Musical mug with Zac Efron's face on it. It's literally perfect.

Ohh, I forgot about this one. But yes, I completely agree. Even though I LOVE it. The first time I watched it, I made it through the whole movie without crying and being okay, but as soon as the credits started rolling, I started sobbing uncontrollably for a good five or ten minutes. It was intense.

Oh! RENT. Even though the movie is kind of awful compared to the real version, it still makes me feel so many things and during the finale, I always look so ridiculous because I'm sobbing but grinning and singing along and it's stupid but I just love that musical so much and it means so much to me and when I watch it I…

OMG the Six Feet Under finale... one of the best moments in television history, I SWEAR. I can't even listen to Breathe Me by Sia without thinking about that final montage and just sobbing. Incredible. Amazing. The best. Ugh. Thanks for reminding me, now I want to rewatch the entire series just so I can experience that…

Oh! And even though it's one of my favourite movies of all time, Candy. I just. Ugh. Feelings.

Amour. I'm still not okay.

I live in the Tampa area. Um. Well.... There's a pretty good drag scene here. Lots of good queens and lots of places for queens from other states to visit. But that's what I'm into, so obviously it's not a perk for everyone else. Ummm. There's some good theatre here! Yeah. I'm not really a big fan of the heat and I don't…

I don't pray and I'm not religious, but people deal with things different ways. Now is a time to put differences in spirituality aside and focus on being as positive and peaceful as we all can towards each other.
