I have never played with a board. But my brother did when we were teens...and the experience left him shaken enough that he tossed the board into our burn barrel. Having grown up "poor" I know what "poor" is...and I am NOT it LOL but, I have a confession...I not ONLY love a great thrift store deal...but I shop at the Dollar Tree too! *gasp* Should I be seeking some sort of frugal support group? Since its apparently not getting me in with the "cool kids"... :frown:

I got it once as a teen. And my older sister (8 yrs older) said she knew the perfect solution...Kerosene (a friend of a friend told her to do it). OMG. It burns. It blisters. It did, however, kill the bugs...but I will never EVER let her "help" with a problem like that again. My hair was extremely shiny and soft for weeks…

I will say though that I do NOT buy any underwear, socks, shoes or pajamas/sleepwear there. Ewe.

When I was growing up we WERE poor. I didnt even get thrift store goods, I got my sisters hand me downs or the neighbors hand me downs LOL I HATED it. I also never got name brand shoes...and my mother kept me in velcro shoes till 3rd grade (I begged her for laces!) hahaha Anyway, growing up poor I HATED all the hand me…

I will totally do this with you guys! I just got the dvd's the other day, havent started yet. But WILL today. :smile:

OMG!!! Thank you for this post! I had never heard of this website but I LOVE it! While the cheeseburger casserole doesnt sound like my cup of tea, A LOT on that site IS. I LOVE to cook and I love finding healthier ways to cook great dishes. :happy: Thanks!!!!
