I went so far as to divide my staples list by aisle of the our most frequented grocery store. That way, it makes the trips a bit more efficient instead of checking the list and walking back and forth in the store. It is also useful for the few times hubby had to go the store because I was sick/injured.

Did you know you can log cleaning in under cardio? I wouldn't log short bursts here and there but cleaning a few rooms top to bottom every day will get you a little cardio in and help keep your house neat. It might be enough of an incentive for you. Set up a chore chart for yourself and hubby. Start small. Say for…

I'm almost done with level 2. First few days of Level 1, I was sore. Jumping does mess with the shins so listen to your body. Level 2 is a lot of lunges and planks. It sucks so bad. I still have to take a few breaks so I'm not sure when I'll be able to move up to Level 3. LOL

I do agree that it has slowed the weight loss but I feel stronger. I will probably up the cardio and maybe find another 30 training program and retake the 30 Day Shred after the first of the year because I don't want to lose the muscles I've built. :)
-
I'm gonna watch this. I'm 18 days into the shred and have only lost about 5-6 pounds. I feel a bit smaller but i won't know for sure until I measure in 12 days.

How would I figure out what my current BF is?

I've had my HRM for a little over a week and MFP is the higher of the two numbers. HRM is only about 2/3 of MFP number when it comes to the elliptical but it's been pretty close when doing 30 Day Shred (entered as circuit training). I did some major gardening (tilling and such) today and MFP was lower by a tad. I've only…

I totally know how you feel. It does get easier. After the first few days, the muscle soreness goes away. It gets easier to keep up but still challenging. Start with modifications and gradually work up to it. I look at it as a conditioning type video. I do it 5 days a week resting on Sunday and Thursday. I'm 6 days into…

1 Reese's Peanut Butter Cup 1 Mini Snickers 1 Mini Milky Way Stayed under calories, but just barely. I'm sending half of the candy to work with my hubby tomorrow. My two little boys won't let me get rid of the rest so I'm a bit nervous about it being around.

I've been having a lot of calories left and snacking my way through them. It really hasn't done much for me to be honest so over the past couple of days, I've added 100 calories or so to each of my meals (with cheese or fruit or milk usually) I've also tried to structure my snacks a little bit better. I've definitely felt…

I feel like Level 1 was hard all over. Level 2 is killing my arms and at the end, my stomach is almost knotted. I don't feel it's as cardio heavy because the lunges are static. I haven't seen Level 3 yet.
-
I used canned tomatoes. Water bottles would work great too! I bought 3 lb weights at first and that was a mistake. I bought 2 lb. ones today. I needed to work up to the 3.

If you really need pizza, try a thin crust with a couple of veggie toppings. You can eat 1/4 of a medium with relatively low calories.

I am on Day 9 doing it 3 days 1 rest 2 days then rest. I also do 4 days of additionally cardio on there but I leave Sundays as complete rest days. The video has done a number on my shins so for me, the rest days are necessary. I am still noticing a gradual improvement in my stamina although I modify the jumping a bit. My…

That might be difficult to do. Some days I would worship her and other days I would set a bon fire at her feet.

When I quit, I alternated between hard candy and sugar-free gum. I also made it a point to drink a full glass of water during my trigger points like right after meals or during break at work. After drinking the full glass i would eat an apple to take up the rest of my normal break. My husband used jolly ranchers and gained…

I'm 5'4" though if you ask the dr.'s office, they would say 5'3". LOL

Do you have access to an elliptical? I broke my ankle a few years ago and unfortunately it was not set correctly. I no longer have full range of motion in the one ankle which has led to a shin splint problem. With the elliptical, there is no impact so I have no issues doing it for extended periods of time. I have gotten a…

http://health.howstuffworks.com/wellness/diet-fitness/weight-loss/question227.htm This explains how we lose the water weight while we sleep. With the night sweats though, that's curious. Sorry hon!
-
Temperature change? I thought weight lost at night was water lost through sweating. Maybe you aren't sweating as much because it's colder? I dunno. Hope you find your answer.

Today was my day two. Yesterday, I could not do all of the jumping and had to drop the weights during the anterior raise/side lunge. I stopped several times. It was awful. Today, I was sore and didn't want to do it but I did. It was actually a little easier. The second circuit was the hardest for me to jump through. Those…

Fruits and veggies are good tummy fillers. I have to have apples and oranges on hand for snacking. Try to avoid the empty calories. Sugar in your oatmeal is one. I like mine sweet too, have you tried splenda or mixing in berries. Watch your cheese intake and those high calorie condiments. If you can, weigh out your lunch…

Bumping this because I'm making it tonight :)

Take baked spaghetti squash and top with a bit of cottage cheese and some marinara. Sprinkle with a bit of cheese and bake until bubbly. Yummy almost lasagna type. Also, I like to mix cooked spaghetti squash with roasted veggies, a splash of balsamic vinegar, and sprinkling of cheese like feta.
-
Spaghetti squash topped with cottage cheese and marinara with a sprinkling of red. fat cheese. Bake it off and it's super yummy and filling.

My vote would be for the grilled salmon. I would choose the steamed potatoes, veggies, fresh fruit, or cup of soup depending on your calories available and what you are in the mood for. If you go with soup, look for a minestrone, those are usually much lighter options and can be filling. Say no to breadsticks, they are…
