I'm just giving the same advice I've gotten from a personal trainer, a nutritionist and sports advisor. Does it really feel right to be putting processed sugar into your body after you've just done something great for it? I didn't say it would absorb differently because that's not possible, it will just get absorbed…

All wrapped in bacon. How can I forget the bacon. How blasphemous of me! ps today is international bacon day.

chicken schnitzel. Mashed tatoes. Pringles - buffalo wings, Pork belly. Massive pile of olives and feta.

In the 45 minutes post workout your body is in it's most absorbent state. You do not want to put anything that is going to massively spike your insulin again, such as high GI foods, unless you are as stated above. You also don't want anything really fatty as the body will store it straight away, as with the sugar created…

I play roller derby and our skates are meant to be tight, like a second skin, so these sort of problems are very common so that's why most skaters will tell you that your shoes are too tight. If you wear shoes that are looser at the toe and fit your heel nice and tight you wont get it as often or at all. Getting fitted in…

No I understand you now. I guess I'm just worried as I liked having the wiggle room without having to eat my exercise cals back for training days. Now I'm going to have to eat a few back. That's ok! I know why it was such a big drop now *I'm a der brain* I changed my weight and selected 1 pound/week rather than the half…

I drink anywhere from 9-16 cups of water a day and always drink a cup before eating just to make sure. Which is also maybe why I'm getting full quick. I rarely get 'hungry' as such and it's only when planned meal times are held up out my control like getting caught in a meeting over lunch or late getting home to make…

I don't try and stay as low as 1300 but because of the choices I'm making a struggle to eat the volume of food. I used to eat rubbish and skip breakfast so my stomach is quite small but because my meals used to be so high cal and fat I gained weight. I've also been at the same weight for over 12 months so I guess I was at…

I'm already a sook with the cold. Maybe I don't want to lose weight after all.....

Without being rude, why is everyone saying this menu is so fancy? Most of these meals would be served at my local in their regular menu. Or am I just spoiled because I live on the eatery strip in my town?

Catch of the day or sirloin without the butter sauce. Actually any of the meats/seafood that says 'served with' as you can get it without. I'd avoid anything stuffed or the pastas as they all have cream sauces or cheese that you can't guage accurately. Depends on what you've eaten for that day and what you need to make up…

Because you are pushing harder you need more blood into the legs and feet. Toe and foot numbness has something to do with your shoes. Usually it meas they are either too tight at the toe, too tight over the arch or aren't the right width for your feet. This is why the poster above would be doing it in flip flops.

Right tragus - retired but want again right nipple - retired as it just never healed properly snake bites - retired but I'd love to have them again. I've got the scars on my face and ould rather them covered with sparkles tongue - had that 11 years right lobe - dunno if it's closed over, earings look crap on me left lobe 2…

The math of writing things down is a pain for me. Because I forget to write it down or forget what I eat I lose track. MFP also gives me the instant feedback of what I'm eating which is the most important part for me. I pre-log which is kind of, to me anyway, like packing a lunch box. It helps me pick better things for all…

People don't understand when I say that because of the choices I make, I find it really hard to eat to my calories. I have to force myself to eat sometimes otherwise I know I'll crash before there is food available again. I need to keep my blood sugar as even as I can or I will EAT ALL THE THINGS! I guess a fatty saying…

My goal is to be drafted to a team to play infront of the public. So my treat will be my uniform. With my name and number on the back. I will then buy tights and socks to match. And then buy makeup to match my uniform and come up with 100 ways to make it look awesome. My ultimate treat will be when our league MC announces…

Noone is saying you wont lose weight or keep it off by logging and staying within the alloted amount. However, weight loss will not be as quick or as close to linear as some would like if your diet is terrible. The health benefits of eating properly should go hand in hand with weightloss as being thin doesn't automatically…

But if you juice that smoothie it changes the thermodynamics and you'll lose weight. *snortlaugh* That *kitten* is holding out on me. I've tried everything he's said for like 2 whole days and NOTHING!

aircon dries your skin. Your evaporating sweat would be taking oils with it. Drink more water, as if you are sweating that much 8-10 isn't enough, and get some good unsaturated fats from cold oils (olive oil in salad for example NOT heated through or used to cook things) or nuts, avocados... you know the dealio. They will…

If you are passing out on fasted cardio there are some other issues. Either you aren't eating enough cals in general or not enough complex carbs to help your blood sugar level stay as even as possible. If you are eating within the 30 min period before working out your body will not burn it unless it's really high GI like a…

More success for fat burning if you workout before eating. You have nothing to burn but fat and a little muscle. Kickstarts your metabolism and helps your body keep a more even keal all day. However, no more than 30-40 mins or if high intensity 20 mins. The reason this works, other than the above, is we still haven't…

you should keep as normal and just exercise a little more. Don't eat the extra excercise cals back. You should try and keep as normal as possible to keep your body functioning as it's used too. Too many ups and downs can cause problems and defeat the purpose of what you did to make it all better. Crap happens man. Eat…

Derby booty shorts gap a little at the back.

It's not open hun. I'm sure if you've just started it would be water retention weight so yes, this is safe and completely normal. Just don't keep expecting those numbers in a week or two.

Has he spoken to you about gaskets/braces to support the knee? Sorry, I play derby and knees are our biggest injury and priority. I'd really say you need to speak with a physio as they know more about 'these kind of things'. Knees are precious, you'll miss them when they are gone.

EXACTLY! If it was just 'output>input not matter what input actually is' weightloss wouldn't be agonising. We wouldn't have the word 'fad diet' because it would all work. Unfortunately we are not evolved past the process of the body storing nutrients that it is programmed to need. Maybe in a few thousand years our bodies…

Possibly but I'm also eating to fuel my body for sport and mental performance at work. Not specifically for weightloss. But this is also true for the people who ask why they aren't losing as quick as they should or putting on weight some weeks. Your body will burn off the fuel in your blood before the fat stores are used…

BAHAHAHAHAH My boyfriend somehow thought these drops were a great idea mixed with a 500 cal diet. He lasted 3 days before breaking down and asking me not tell anyone through a cup of coffee and a whole packet of scotch finger biscuits. He thought I was a ****head when I said it wouldn't work. He was so hungry he nearly…
