At my box we do about 15 min warm up, followed by a 15-30 min strength part and we end with the WOD. The WOD is posted online or written on the whiteboard and is explained at the beginning of the class, usually (or at least at my box) they'll explain/show the different exercises so that everyone knows what to do. I've been doing crossfit for a few months now, and I LOVE it! Before joining my box I wasn't working out on a regular basis, so don't worry about not being fit/athletic enough. They will scale it to what you're able to do. Have fun!

I'm 5'6 and my goal is 130 lbs. Depending on how I feel this might change. I'm currently 149 lbs.

I do the same thing. It's easier then guessing how much calories I burned during the WOD.

WOD 1: 6min: row for kcal 4 min rest WOD 2: 6min AMRAP: 5 power cleans 5 burpees over the bar 4min rest WOD 3: 6min AMRAP 10 wall balls 10 hand relaese push-ups

Wod: 30min, every 6 minutes, in teams of 3: 750m row 60 wall balls remaining time -> burpees.

Strength: 5 sets of: 5 deadlifts (3 sets with 30kg, 2 sets with 35kg) 10 step ups (50cm box) 10 push presses (with 2 8kg KB's) WOD; EMOM - 12 min 6 KB swings (12 kg) 6 burpees

Today was: In teams of 2, 4 sets each 250m row 5 single arm push press 10 goblet squats 20 burpees We finished in 27:37

Strength part: 4sets of: 20 weighted overhead lunges 5 ring rows 45 second plank WOD: 10 min AMRAP: 10 DB Ground to overhead (10 each arm) 5kg 100m run I made it through 5 rounds.

Part 1: 4 sets of: 20 KB swings 10 KB squats 10 KB rows (10 each arm) I used a 8kg kettle bell. Part 2: 2 sets of: 4 min: 400m run + burpees 2 min rest

It was a fun workout! I forgot to mention I finished in 5:57, I did 30kg deadlifts, but I'm thinking about adding weight next time.
