Blues... has anyone of you all ever done a cleanse or detox?? I am considering doing one to help with tummy bloating and digestion. I understand its not a quick weight loss pill, but I always feel so bloated and my digestion (errr...ummm.... bowl movements) isn't often enough. Interested in your thoughts?

I read about the BMI too. Now I'm thinking of getting measured properly at my gym... I'll have to ask them about it. I have heard before that thin looking people can be fat. This reminds me that I need to measure myself. Maybe my body has changed even if the scale hasn't changed much.

Wow, I never really thought of it that way. I just thought my will power sucked... not that I was lacking something and reaching out to fill that need. Makes a lot of sense though. Next time, I will have to think about what I am in need of and why. Thanks for the insight!!

almomay - it is interesting to see my weight change. I'm hoping that by noting my weight daily, I can learn more about my body. Oh well. I figure as long as I don't get angry at the scale, I'm ok. j_g4ever - I'm sorry to hear that you've gained weight since eating all of your exercise cals. When you indicate that you've burned 1300 or so cals, are you using a HRM?? Just wondering if the those cals are accurate. Would hate for you to be inadvertently overeating. Otherwise, maybe you could give it another week to…

Great idea... the challenge to stay below calories. I will log everything. Saturday is a success. Time to log the meals for tomorrow. I made butternut squash lasagna tonight. Very filling and rich!

I take spin classes several times a week. I document it as bicycling, vigorous effort. I'm a short person and near a healthy weight... I only burn 320 - 340 cals in an hour class. I think taller folks burn slightly more. But I agree with the other post, depends on how hard you work.

It bothers my tail bone some too... so I bought a cushion seat cover to put over the cycling bike seats. It helps so much. I am not sore at all today - well not my tail bone anyway :bigsmile: Happy Friday Blues!! :drinker:

debnu1 - I can't blame you for the food binge before the start of a BL challenge. I'd probably do the same. But we both know that it doesn't help in the long run. Hey Blues! I am back from an extended weekend away. I enjoyed the food while I was away but I am back with all the motivation of before. I've already scheduled workouts for every week day this week. I have my food planned out for today. I will work this one day at a time.

Yes that was a 60 mins class. I work my tail off in spin classes and only burn about 330 cals... so 456 was a lot for me.

Yup Rome for an extended weekend. The joy of living in Europe is that Rome is only 2.5 hours away :bigsmile: One of my bucket list items is to eat pizza in Italy where pizza came from. We are pretty excited... I've never been to Italy.
