I have rewards for big goals: like when I reach 199 I will go zip lining, when I reach my goal weight I will go shark diving. For my 10 lb wins I usually treat myself to a manicure/pedicure/ or facial.

I'm also on a low carb, low sugar diet due to Type II diabetes (diagnosed a week ago). Doctor told me broccoli (something I wouldn't have thought of) will also provide you with protein. Nuts, eggs are also good choices.

Started C25K day one yesterday. Wasn't able to run yet, but I did walk briskly the entire time. Hoping I can jog some of the time today. I'm using the C25K app. Good Luck Everyone!!!

I have the same problem with sugar, usually crave it at night. However, I just found out I have type II diabetes so I need to watch my sugar intake. I have cut out all processed sugar, and eat only natural sugar (ie fruits-not tropical fruits). Cravings have now gone away after a week, and no more nighttime snacking. Hope…

Don't let this get you down. I know it's hard to stay on track when you see the scale going the wrong direction but stick with it. You are doing great!
