hide some special treat in your cupboard just for yourself... so that you grab YOUR special treat instead of the kids... Maybe 100 cal cookie pack, an exotic fruit like kiwi or starfruit, or maybe a glamorous bottle of uber cool sparkling water. I did that to make myself not grab an "adult beverage" I mixed in fancy…

Has anyone tried finely ground oatmeal in place of flour in a arecipe like this? I don't always keep all kinds of flour in the house as that just makes me want to bake more. I am one of those people who just can't have it around or I EAT IT! But I always have banana and oatmeal..... so any experience with putting oatmeal…

I love seeing everyone using lots of eggs for this... I do a great egg salad with one whole boiled egg and 2 boiled egg whites, 1 scant tablespoon of low fat or fat free mayo and a squit of yellow mustard then white pepper or a dash of hot sauce to taste. Scoop with green pepper wedges or brocoli stalk chips. Yummy! Also…

Have you considering searching for a recipe for something like a dried fruit leather? I have seen some where you make a rhubarb or fruit sauce that is nice and thick then dry it like fruit roll ups. Just a thought to use the fresh fruit but no crust.

The soup is pretty delish, like most good veggie soups... But piece of advice.. buy a bottle of beano or gas-x while at the store. Trust me on this one.

I see a new opening line when meeting women.... "Excuse me Miss, Can you tell me what this is"? Brilliant! I bet it actually might work!

That is a terrific little moment to read! Good for You!!! I love it!

Ahhh but nothing is better than soup with a big ole crusty roll on the side... So what do you use in place of that huge hunk of bread? Is there a more friendly side to swab through the broth?
-
Oh that sounds great! And I bet I can make a scaled down version with what I have in the house now and won't have a gallon of left overs! Yummy! Thank you so very much!
-
I would love to see that pumpkin soup recipe! I hope you can share!

Oh No You Didn't! I will be a mixing matching fool now! I am already thinking that when I get home there will be chocolate rootbeer cake for tonight and then I will probably get busy with orange pop! Thank you! That is brilliant! Now to keep from eating the whole pan!

I just made a hybrid of this recipe to kill my craving as well! One box chocolate cake mix one 15 oz can pumpkin, BUT, I love a light fluffy cupcake so I added 1/4 cup of ice water with the pumpkin and then folded in 2 beaten egg whites. After doing the math I came up with 73 calories each when I made it in into 24…

I see your motivation sitting right there with an adorable smile in your Avi! What an angelic child! I find it is easier to be motivated when I am not overwhelmed with my diet. Perhaps you could plan your meals ahead to be strict again and then try to fill your time with something else you enjoy to both make you smile…

Deep fried with chips... but ok, not such a great plan for me this year. So broiled with lemon, salt and pepper or then broken up and used in fish taco! yummy! If I know taco is their destiny lightly sprinkle with cumin/chili powder or cajun spice mix. I'm not super picky.

Just yesterday I had a big ole slab of chocolate pie... it was wonderful... but I knew I was going to have to eat a catered lunch at work so I had a lite meal bar for breakfast and some peaches... and a reasonable dinner. Stayed "near" my goal and I don't feel bad at all now about indulging. Did it and posted about it the…

I think I am in the same boat. I keep hearing to not be discouraged! I lost right off the bat when I shocked my system and started mfp but now I am stuck and even gained a pinch. I can easlily see where I make mistakes and am trying to correct them. I am weak but trying! Slow and steady is the healthy way and I just need…
