For me it was the food. I have a lot of trouble controlling what I eat if I don't account for it, so a year ago, when I stopped counting my calories, I began eating much more than I used to. It made me gain a good 25 pounds... It's easier to start over this time around, though, because I know I did it once, so I can do it…

I used to be a size 8 and I have never been overweight. It also depends on hip size. I have a friend who is the same shape as me, but she is much smaller everywhere- she's shorter, her hips are less wide, etc. She used to wear size 5 when I wore size 8, and we had about the same amount of belly fat. So, for her, wearing a…

Coffee and bacon are my favourite foods on a hangover, or just on a night after drinking. I don't have to be hangover to eat it :P It doesn't cure anything, but it makes everything better nonetheless :)

My weekly foods always look similar as well, since I often prepare a big batch of food on Sunday for my whole week (I'm a student): -Seitan -Homemade vegetable soup with all sorts of vegetables -Cucumber -Spinach and lettuce -Cheese -Beans -Brown bread -Udon noodles -Brown rice -Mini wheats cereal -Coffee -Peanut butter…

I actually did that with my last peanut butter jar! it was much dryer though, but i used it mostly for recipes, so it worked.

I do mostly strength training now, with heavy weights. However, cardio is important to overall health. In my Taek Won Do class, we do intense cardio to increase our speed and endurance. I swim and run for heart health. I don't know about anyone else, but I hate being out of breath when I go up the stairs. Cardio endurance…

Sure, could probably help me learn how to lift better :P

Taekwondo is plain awesome. I've been doing it for a semester now (I had done 4 years of karate 5 years before this, but it's really not the same). Depending on your teacher, expect high intensity cardio and stretching- that's to get you in shape for the actual martial art. Lots of kicking, fast moving, but a lot of fun.…

If the only exercise you do is walking while you cut calories, most of that loss will be muscle mass. That's why you feel more saggy. Try more exercise, especially strength training. I only lost 14 pounds, but will all my strength training I feel very different!

Here's a good one from one of my favourite food bloggers: http://chocolatecoveredkatie.com/2012/01/30/melty-pizza-hummus/

I made a simple spaghetti sauce once with one box of cherry tomatoes, two large carrots, two large stalks of celery, a clove of garlic, salt, pepper, onions, and some coriander..... I chopped them up in a food processor then cooked it on my stove about 20-30 minutes.

I've noticed a few of those things too! I get much colder, junk food tastes like oil, and I get stomach cramps when I eat junk food (or just binge on ANY food).

I love starship troopers too!

I also watched this movie, and I agree. Very interesting, a must-see!

Chicken is a lean meat that has a good amount of protein. Also try beans and green veggies.

This recipe: http://www.sproutedkitchen.com/home/2011/12/29/lentil-meatballs-in-lemon-pesto.html I use it not just as a 'meatball' recipe, but also as a hamburger bun and hot dogs. I just shape the dough differently!

I'm going partly vegetarian... meaning meat isn't really part of my routine anymore. However, I still like meat, and I will eat it when I go out or to someone's house (my parents, for example). Best of luck to you, and have a happy year!

1. I can run 5k without feeling like I'm going to die, and swim a kilometer nonstop 2. I actually started working out and making a difference in my body, whereas before I would only pretend to work out and never change my body at all 3. I'm eating vegetables! 4. I am below 140 pounds and will stay below there for good For…

If there's bacon, it's a winner :)

This recipe! http://www.sproutedkitchen.com/home/2011/12/29/lentil-meatballs-in-lemon-pesto.html I don't just use it as meatballs, either. I shaped it into a hamburger bun today!

Any Jillian MIchaeals video. After a year of working out, I'm in a pretty good shape, but Jillian still kicks my butt! I did 30 day shred, 6-week 6 pack, her yoga dvd, and now I'm doing Body Revolution.

This recipe. I use it not just for meatballs, but I also shape them in sausage shapes and hamburger patties, so it has a lot of potential! http://www.sproutedkitchen.com/home/2011/12/29/lentil-meatballs-in-lemon-pesto.html

Stress can be a big problem for weight loss. Not only does it push certain people (like me) to eat more than usual (going through this right now, since I'm moving for college... tomorrow), but even when you do eat right, it chemically affects your weight loss. However, it does not stop you from losing weight. Like someone…
