Can you rephrase this in terms of your ovreall calorie deficit? What do you mean you stopped eating back exercise calories? Are you just going by the MFP calorie target and ignoring exercise? How does your intake compare to your TDEE? If you're running a huge deficit, of course you're going to feel like hell.

Cravings are a result of hunger. So get un-hungry, i.e., eat.

god damn right it is. especially when they're brand new and not broken in  once broken in and you're accustomed to it, then they're very "comforting" in a way.

I dunno, like 10 lbs? I dunno, like 10 days?

Yes. On all lifts that are over 85% of 1RM or so. http://startingstrength.wikia.com/wiki/Equipment#Belts http://www.jimwendler.com/2011/09/training-and-fashion/

By that logic, you shouldn't rule out beans either like you wrote in your OP. Nuts are roughly 2/3 fat; 1/3 protein. Beans are roughly 2/3 carbs; 1/3 protein. Look to lean meats, egg whites, fat free cottage cheese for essentially pure protein. Everything else, including beans or nuts or bacon cheeseburgers, just fit it…

I don't know how valid it is, but there's a database entry "Pizzeria - Pizza", for 310/slice that I use sometimes. Seems within the ballpark anyway.

Why not just get or make good pizza?

Carnitas platter (carnitas, rice and beans) Pollo Asado (grilled chicken, rice, and beans)

This is bogus. It only asked my gender, weight, height, and age. Nothing about body fat percentage. They are making assumptions about body composition. Irrelevant.

my thoughts are that it's nonsense

So MFP gets a cut as well? That makes sense.

Focus on changing your lifestyle in such a way that you have the knowledge and habits to eat well and exercise well for the rest of your life. Being afraid of bulking up is not even remotely an issue you have to worry about. That's like being afraid of accepting a job because you fear you will become a millionaire.

What's most interesting about this post is that you referred to your "timeline", a Facebook concept. Amazing what an impact Facebook has had and continues to have on the web.

Arch your back. Keep shoulders down. Make chest big. Be very careful taking lifting advice from a website like this.

Cheers! :drinker:

Why not try something less extreme and more sustainable? The goal is to be healthy and fit for life, not to burn out as quickly as possible.
