My treadmill seems to always be accurate. I've never believed the numbers on the elliptical. I've even seen news reports that say elliptical ones are usually way off.

My goal is pretty close to yours. I weight in at 138.2 today. I'd like to see 133 by the end of the month.

I've been doing it for the last few days. My goal is 5 days a week which is what Jillian recommends. I use a 15lb kettlebell but am hoping to get a 20lb one soon cause 15 is just not enough. I do this video right before I do the Six Weeks 6-Pack. After just 3 days I am looking a little slimmer and have lost almost 2lbs.

Sounds amazing. I can't wait to make this!

The training schedule I use increases one mile per week so you should be fine. It obviously won't be easy, but nothing in life is :) Just push yourself :) http://mba.tuck.dartmouth.edu/pages/clubs/triathlon/training/Half_Marathon.htm

I swear I have to pee every hour, sometimes more, now that I drink so much water. I'm also very regular and seem to have more gas than I have ever had in my life.

Personally I only count water as water. If it's one of those days that water just doesn't sound good I add a slice of lemon or two for some flavor.

www.dwlz.com Tons of nutrition info in the restaurant section.

I agree with everyone that says that it is fine. It makes sense to carry over calories to the next day. As long as your calories for the week add up to what you want them to then it works.

We ordered a 6 foot Subway sandwich for our party. Subway is nice enough to only put on the meat. All of the fixings come on the side so everyone can build their sandwich to their liking. It's great. We did it last year and it was a huge hit.

I just bought an HRM. I had planned on buying the Bodybugg but decided for me it was just not worth the money. I only really care about how many calories I am burning while I exercise. That is why I went with the HRM.

Holy yummy looking!! Thanks for posting that.

I totally get you with the weird combinations. I'm the same way. I tend to eat whatever I'm in the mood for or craving. The other day I had a small bowl of spaghetti with some ramen. Fortunately for me I don't normally eat two different carbs for one meal :) Your peirogies, onion, egg beater and sausage meal sounds amazing.

Turkey tacos are WAY better than beef tacos! We have them about once a week. Usually though it's in the form of a taco salad. I do turkey taco meat, some black beans, tomatoes and salad with a dressing made of fat free plain yogurt mixed with salsa. If I have extra calories I sprinkle crushed tortilla chips on top.

I made that once and didn't like it at all which was kind of surprising because I like just about everything.

Popchips! They are awesome. http://www.popchips.com/

I drink Isagenix Isalean Shakes. I use them as a meal replacement on the mornings that I plan to run. My tummy can't digest food fast enough for me to eat before I run. The shake gives me the energy I need to run without causing any stomach cramps.

Another thing about brown rice... I saw something on tv the other day about how cooking your brown rice to al dente will improve its location on the glycemic index.

I'm with you. Can't give up the sushi rice!

I would trust the HRM. I've always read that elliptical calorie readings are much higher than they should be. I've also noticed in many of the message boards lately that a lot of the MFP entries for exercises are wrong. I believe this enough that yesterday I ordered a Polar FT7 so that I can be calculating my calories more…

I have used it a lot to make a low fat, low calorie alfredo sauce to put over whole wheat pasta. It's a Hungry Girl recipe and is VERY tasty. Just cook it over low heat in a small pan or microwave it. 1/2 Wedge The Laughing Cow Light Cheese 1 teaspoon Fat Free Sour Cream 2 teaspoons Kraft Reduced Fat Parmesan Cheese

That is probably the case. I have been using MFP since November. From November until last week I did not lose a single pound, in fact I gained weight. I was even eating exactly 1200 calories a day, or more if I had exercise calories to eat. About a week and a half ago my friend urged me to up my calories to at least 1600.…

I use and sell Isagenix and I absolutely love it. The shakes and bars are great quick meals. The cleanse for life liquid is something I start each day with. It gives me a little boost that gets me going for the day. I feel better and sleep better when I use it.

I suggest you start with the 1600 first. If you don't lose much in a week or two drop it down a little. I really thing the 1200 thing is just too low for most people. My friend has taken a lot of nutrition classes and has always been told that when you eat that few calories your body goes into starvation mode which makes…

My husband tried that last year. It was a total joke. He lost weight, but I'm sure that had a lot to do with the massive amount of diarrhea he had. He also had no energy at all. The 10 or so pounds he lost were back on within a week or two. I think if you are wanting to cleanse you should try something healthier like…

The 2 videos that I use daily are the 30 Day Shred and Six Weeks 6-Pack. They are both Jillian Michael's videos, which for some reason makes me work harder. I think it might be because I picture her yelling at people on The Biggest Loser. Then I picture her yelling at me. Seems to keep me going.

Thanks for sharing!

I'm a huge fan of Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred. Three different levels of workouts and each one is only 20 minutes. I think just about everyone can find 20 minutes in their day to squeeze in a workout. Don't be fooled by how short it is though. It's a pretty tough workout.

I ran my first half marathon last year. Here is a link to the training schedule that I used. http://www.halhigdon.com/halfmarathon/novice.htm
