for 1lb a week it only ever gives me 1200 cals regardless of if I have 45lbs to lose or 6 lbs to lose :indifferent:

Thanks for al the advice guys,I have checked out the Couch to 5K site and I see I can download the app on my ipod touch so I think I will give this a go it seems achievable (well the first two weeks :laugh:) but you all seem to highly recommend it.

I would love to know the answer to this!! I can completely relate, I am also 5ft tall, 38 years old and I have only 7lbs to go to my goal weight but I have been stuggling with this for what feels like forever it is so frustrating. :grumble:

Everything I eat goes into my Journal, I don't understand the "these are free foods approach" I feel that you have to for nutritional purposes and also for looking back on your journal. I think someone said earlier they log the good the bad and the ugly, I think this is the best aproach.

This just confuses me, surely fruit and vegetables are far better for you than the junk that we consumed before getting here and form part of a healthy balanced diet? I don't think I am going to stress too much over this as I think that everything is fine in moderation.
