My average daily ride with a Garmin HRM of 2 hours at 22-26km per hour, I will burn 950+ calories, using the Garmin calculations. I also tend not to use the MFP or Strava calculations as the tend to give much higher burns.

I'm in. Agree with Hawkeyegal, the grand tours wouldn't be the same with out it.

I live in a part of the world where you can ride pretty much all year round, bit hard to justify a trainer. @ Kriles, I had my edge set for that exact same thing, after 2 hours of listening to chirp everytime I rolled up a hill, I had to switch it off or throw the garmin. It was driving me nuts. :)

Commute bike is on gatorskins 28's. Road bike is on Vredestein Freccia 23's( came with the bike), not the greatest rolling resistant tyres however there durability and grip is pretty good. I have only done about 1200km's on them but once they are done I will be going back to Conti Grandprix 4000s II. Great all round tyre…
