I look at it like this: I'm Italian. I've given up breads, cheese, pasta and just about every other delicious Italian meal inbetween. Pizza is one of my FAVORITE foods. I can never totally give it up. I can live without spaghetti, but not pizza. Not forever. Right now I'm in my fat shredding phase, so pizza, even with 230…

Woah, holy transformation you're going through! Amazing progress! Keep up the good work!

I completely agree with you. As much as I would love for my closest friends to be perfectly, physically fit and in amazing health - I know (and accept) that it isn't a lifestyle for EVERYONE. I encourage my friends/family to make healthy choices and offer suggestions whenever they ask for my input, but like you - I like…

Dear Guy that's bragging about living in North Carolina: WHY would you think any place that has ICE would = nice weather??? Know how I'm spending Thansgiving this week? Swimming in the aqua blue ocean, that's clear enough to see the white sand on the bottom. The Outter Banks have NOTHING on Miami Beach, bikinis in…

Dear Guy Yelling at Me out of the Car Window: I appreciate the compliment, I think, but it's really not attractive to hang your head out of the window of a moving vehicle like a dog and scream uncomprehendable phrases out at the blonde girl skating down the street... it's just not. Thanks, I'm not a Golden Retriever.…

I buy Greek yogurt at both Costco and Publix. Not sure where you live, but I know they also have it in Stop & Shop in New England (used to live there). Since it's your breakfast/snack, why not try only eatting the yogurt SOME days rather than every day. And the other days you could mix in foods with less sugar and balance…

I struggle to get close to 1200 calories. I realllllly have to plan out my entire day to eat that much. I guess it depends where your calories are coming from to accurately assess whether its a good amount, or not. If I don't pay veryyyy close attention to everything I eat, and don't eat, I struggle to hit 800 calories.…

Everyone always ranted and raved about how delicious Krispy Kreme donuts were, how they were the best donuts and all of that... so when I was pregnant for my first daughter my husband took me on a hour and a half drive to go try them. We went inside this donut place that looked like it was out of the 1950s, considering we…

I'm really weird and eat tuna right out of the can, without any mayo. Buttttttt... if you're looking for something to add to your sandwitches, try Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Greek Yougurt, or Taco Bell sauce - (which has NOTHING in it, at all.) Also, be careful with the bread. You can make up for a lot of the…

I know some people swear by it, but I personally don't do it. I guess I believe in the old saying of "once a cheater, always a cheater" (at least when it applies to nutrition and health) and in the long run, you're only cheating yourself. I LOVE chocolate. Chocolate is my weakness. I could seriously sit there and eat a…

You know, it's never too late to start a NEW tradition, one that fits into your new lifestyle. For Thanksgiving, my husband and children spend the day on the beach. We treat ourselves to our favorite Greek pizza. The pizza is our favorite food and we're thankful for it ;)

1. What's your real name? Jayde 2. Married, single, long-term relationship, divorced, widowed? Married, but we kept it a secret from friends/family 3. How old are you (no cheating)? 25 4. A food you love that's terrible for you: chocolate and pizza 5. Celebrity crush: Ryan Phillippe. If I ever get divorced, I'm marrying…

My vote is definately for PLYOMETRICS. I hate not being able to sit down for days afterwards. Just knowing how sore I'm going to be afterwards HURTS me, haha. I'm very active, but no matter how great of shape I get, plyometrics will kick my butt EVERY TIME. Now, that's exercises that I can do. For some strange reason I…

You're on the right path. Your diet is similar to the nutrition plan my husband and I follow. We eat all of the same things, just different servings and sometimes at different times. He is also doing some fat burning, muscel toning - he is an MMA fighter. Our diets consist of very low fat, high protein and moderate carbs.…

It's obviously because of the change in your diet, as everyone has already mentioned. But, drink 8oz of apple juice and make sure you have a clear path to the bathroom... haha, it goes away within two weeks after your body adjusts to the new nutrition. Goodluck!

If it were a perfect world, you wouldn't need to be in a gym to loose weight in the first place. You have to understand that people are going to make their own choices, you just have to make the right choices for yourself. Its easy to sit back and judge parents for what they feed their kids, but at the end of the day all…
