  • I eat Kellog's All Bran, then add dried cranberries because the cereal has 100% of all the essential vitamins - which means I don't need to take a supplement. I'm not into pill popping and I love my cereal!
  • I buy bittersweet baking chips and literally eat them piece by piece. Also, Kashi TLC bars - cherry chocolate granola, usually takes care of the chocolate cravings.. Lately I've been getting it BAD too so I bought some fat-free pudding. Haven't made it yet. No idea what that'll taste like. Maybe try it tonight and let you…
  • If they could figure out a way to charge us per breath, they would... and then charge more if we inhale the chemicals they allow to float around, lol. I'm with you, something needs to be done, its out of control.
  • Try Ole Mexican Tortillas, the ones in my journal, theyre 5carbs and just formulated differently bc I know what you mean. Also, rice and beans will make you bloat and retain water (also my problem) along with everything else you mentioned haha.
  • Idk what it does for weight loss, but man I LOVE it. I lay in there for over 30 minutes. I guess some people reallllly don't like the heat huh? I find it completely relaxing!
  • You know.... they were young and they were boys. You're clearly NOT fat. Maybe they were just bored and wanted to talk to you. Guys never really grow out of that 'teasing girls they like' behavior even as they get older. If it's not your weight, they find SOMETHING.. my husband calls me a "clydesdale" because he says Im so…
  • Figures that day #1 would be my husband's ceremony at his gym, damn them fighters and their achievement awards LOL I'll still get my run in when he comes home but I won't have time to skate today, and skating is my favorite part! :(
  • Norway is PERFECT, since they can't find anything negative to report they just make shiiiiiit up. Classic. LOL

  • Walmart has small Foreman Grills for $16. I bought one to take with me to work. Totally worth the $16 even on the tigest budget because you'll save SO MUCH by using the grill. Everything I buy and eat is considered "healthy food" with the exception of the icecream and few snacks I get for the kids, but overall I shop for a…
  • My allowance is 1465, but I never really hit it, I'm more around the 1200 and under mark. You can take a look at my diary, it's public.
  • YES! And it drives me INSANE. I have my clothes from highschool and they're size 5s. smaller than the new size 3s. I'm 5'10" and when I reach my goal weight of 125lbs, I have NO IDEA what size I will end up in because right now I am fitting into my old, regular normal size 5s and starting to fit into old size 3s, at…
  • I'M IN !!! I'm setting a goal of 250 miles for the month of December. I'm young, I'm active and I think that's a fair goal to challenge myself! I'm excited to join all of you in my first challenge! Making the ticker now!
  • Make sure you drop in a line about how your NEW boyfriend has perfect abs, a perfect butt and a perfect personality and how perfectly you two fit together. hahhaaa. that's what I would do.
  • I assumed they would use medical guidelines to determine is a person is medically obese. Now, the issue with that is that the charts can, and do, change and there is no way of saying what can, or will, be considered obese. Of course it won't be something we could all vote on...
  • You're more than welcome to take a look at mine. I'm doing 30%carbs, 15%fat and 55%protein. Basically, I am in a fat-shredding phase. I plan on writting a blog this week to include my recipies since I've gotten really creative with the low carb/ high protein meals!
  • I absoutely believe that could be what is happening, or maybe that because the majority of children today ARE obese, it could just be reversed from the way we experienced school. I'm only 25, but when I was in school only the "nerds" ran home to play video games or other electronics, role playing games, etc. NOW - it's the…
  • Here is my opinion on this, and take it as you will, hopefully not too personal. I think it is wrong. I think the issue is not with obese people, but with the insurance laws, rules and regulations. Not to mention my complete DISCUST over the Healthcare Bill (which I read!). If the issues were addressed properly we wouldn't…
  • I really don't consider what I'm doing a diet, either. Sure, overall the food I consume is my "diet" in the sense of the literal definition, but I don't believe in fad diets, aimed towards quick results from unhealthy habits that cannot be continued over one's lifetime. Therefore, I do believe in a lifestyle. I am an…
  • I'm not in the SAME boat, but a similar one. I'm 25 and doing law school. I also have 3 kids. I def know what it's like trying to balance everything in life!
  • YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love chinese food as well!!!! Here, try this, its how I do it. Buy the Wanchai Ferry frozen chinese food dinners. (They're DELICIOUS the way they come, but I modify them) I get the beef & broccoli, or the sweet & sour chicken.. any one of them really.. whatever you like. I use the veggies and the…
  • Take a look through my food journal, its pretty much ALL I eat. Here are some quick suggestions: chicken tilapia tuna mahi mahi lobster shrimp turkey burgers salmon salmon burgers
  • Well, I'm still young BUT I can tell you from experience that your husband is correct - skin DOES tighten after you loose weight. And, when I say loose weight, I mean every last little bit of it. Look at my pictures, the one of me in the bikini, that was after I lost about 80lbs. 80lbs that I had gained during my 2nd…
  • I workout like a crazy person. I eat like a health freak. I obsess over reaching my goals. I never cheat on my workouts or nutrition. I have a lot of fun with it. I think of every meal as an opportunity to reach my goals. I think of every exercise as an opportunity to strenghten my body and improve my form. I keep myself…
  • I agree that artificial sweeteners aren't healthy, but the rest of what you wrote - I read it as if I were watching a Coca Cola commercial. Hahahahahhahaahaaaaaa

  • LOL! Ok, then from now on your name is Mr. Scientist  And, to answer the other poster - No, I do not eat french fries. I understand that many people can't give up all of these things, but if we start making excuses for this ONE thing, or that other thing, well before you know it - you're right back where you started…
  • Well, I apologize for stating the obvious Mr. Scientist, but diet soda is CRAP that your body does not need and has zero nutritional benefit for your body, period. Sure you feel good about cutting calories and sugar by switching to diet brands, but um... HELLO you're drinking CARBONATED CHEMICALS! I never understand why…
  • I did some research on professional boxers, because of all the athletes, boxers tend to be the most elite when it comes to nutrition and fitness, and the average boxer is between 5%-10% body fat, usually in the lower part of the range. For example, Mike Tyson was at 5% body fat in his peak. I suggest that if you're…
  • I agree with the others telling you not to hate your body, it made you a beautiful little baby that will grow into your child and love you forever. That being said, I know what you meant about hating the condition your body is in now that the baby is out. I've been there done that THREE times. I've lost ALL the weight only…
  • I'm 5'10 and I weigh 151lbs. I just had my third baby five months ago. I've lost about 45lbs since I had my daughter. According to my BMI I'm right in the middle of the normal weight range. With clothes on, you can't tell I had a baby, and I've have THREE of them in the past 4 years. Still, that isn't good enough for me. I…
