Well said. And I thumb my nose at anyone who doesn't like my diary. lol

You have to want to do it. No one can help you with that.
-
I do exactly the same. And I though I was special......

Good point truushot, the level of obesity is definitely factor, as are our individual goals. This is key to the point I was making. Everyone has to know their own body, but a lot of people are to scared to discover what makes themselves tick if it takes more time and more commitment.
-
Interesting. A new workout program or diet program?
-
The main thing is don't be scared to discover what works for you and your body. Ultimately calories in < calories out = weight loss, but one person may FEEL better eating more carbs than someone else, etc. Thats why I never give macro advice. I can tell you what works for me is to make sure I hit my protein macro. I…

Yes, I think one thing you are suggesting is that the scale isn't the only thing you should be kooking at. I will not only agree with that, I will go so far to say it is one of the LAST things you should look at. Much more important is how you feel, inches lost, etc. The scale is not going to always tell the true story.…

3 months is even better! Thanks for the website link. I am checking that out now.
-
Once a month. It can take 4 to 6 weeks or longer for changes in diet or exercise to start appearing on the scale and if you get caught up in that, it can drive you nuts! As far as what to wear, I think the general consensus seems to be first thing in the morning, after using the bathroom, buck naked.... Whatever you choose…

Well said. We, as a society are in far too much of a hurry, and want our results now. We miss seeing the forest, for the trees, so to speak.
-
Ahhhh. I must have missed that. o.0

Please point me to some resources where I can read about this..........this is a new concept for me.
-
You have been unplugged from the Matrix I'm glad you took the red pill!
-
Can you PLEASE point me to something scientific to back this up? Have you read about the Twinkie diet? Not only did the guy lose weight, his body fat % went down as well as his BMI, etc etc. The ONLY truth i that if you eat less than you burn, you will lose weight. Don't believe me? Have a look at my diet. I eat a lot of…

I don't see how anyone here can offer to tell you what to do when no one has asked, "How long have you been seeing gains?": Some people tend to freak out if they don't show a loss for a week or two weeks. Typically, it takes a MINIMUM of a month to 6 weeks to see the effects of a change in diet or exercise. People tend to…

I agree.

Also, could you please define "stalling"? Weight loss is inconsistent at best and depending on what you are calling stalling, you may not need to change anything just yet. I can tell you right now, you aren't eating enough, but depending on how much weight you have to lose, you should be able to way under-eat at the cost…

Using a calculator to find a starting point isn't the same as relying on a calculator for your weight loss journey. Did I come off as abrasive? If so, that wasn't my intention. So what is your actual TDEE?
-
Stop relying on calculators. Take ownership of your body and weight loss http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/808325-the-one-truth?hl=the+one+truth#posts-12115942
-
Do you know what your TDEE is? Not the one given to you by a calculator, but your ACTUAL TDEE? The only way to find it is to eat enough calories to start to gain weight consistently, and by consistently I mean for at least a month. Most calculators are pretty close but not exact. I'm guessing you probably don't know what…

Drink shots. Avoid mixed drinks totally.
-
Are those pictures of you in your profile? If so, where do you have weight to lose?
-
What is your TDEE?
-
Well, since I am a professor who will be giving the finals, I don't foresee a problem..... Seriously though, try to avoid the vending machines and if you can prepare food ahead of time, do that.
-
This reminds me of Kat William's, the Pimp Chronicles.... "It's called SELF esteem...."
-
Do they seriously charge people like that?
-
Yep. 13B. He is on Cape of Hope Bumping this for him...

Well said.

It depends on the location you want it done at, what style it is (black and grey, color, old school, japanese), It also depends on the artist. For me, I can do an area the size of a deck of cards in about an hour. But sometimes it takes longer or shorter depending on the person's skin. As far as what it costs that will…

I have ten. I did three of them myself. I have been apprenticing for about a year and a half.
