About that food scale. I have one. Used it to portion spaghetti and almost died when I saw the actual amount that makes a serving. :noway: Spaghetti is really meant to be a side dish! Its a slow process but I am learning! :bigsmile:

Making my own foods has helped a lot in considering portion sizes. I am also surprised at how much longer my hunger stays at bay when I eat what I make.

Yes it is taking discipline. And along with losing weight, I am trying to re-learn how to eat properly. After years of chasing my super active athletic kids and eating fast food, a balanced diet is a foreign subject. Thanks!! :wink:

I wanted to use the protein to keep me satiatied so that I was not hungry and missing carbs. What your saying makes sense. Sometimes all this makes me feel like a mouse on a wheel. :ohwell:

Do you have to carry your phone while exercising for this to work? I need something to better monitor nonruning/nonwalking activities. By the way, I love my fitbit. Its worth the purchase to keep me honest all day!

Loving this!! :love: I am constantly pulling at my top in the gym to cover my assets. I wear yoga pants for yoga, shopping, and house cleaning. I sometimes feel I should hide them from myself as the are becoming like my old jogging pants. Sometimes when doing the C25K I get off rythym and look quite goofy on the treadmill…

I was able to get my workout clothes at Lane Bryant online. They had a 50% sale. I love the bra and the yoga pants. I dont feel like Huck Finn in the gym. My knees hurt as I gain and as I lose but then seem to stop until the next stage. I am trying to strenthen the rest of my leg muscles to help my knees.

I am 5'11" and I have 100lbs to lose. I started at 319. I am now 306 until weigh in tomorrow!! :wink: The more friends on this journey the better. I have joined a bootcamp and I am doing the C25K. So far so good. I get really annoyed with packing lunches for myself and my husband. Thats my struggle right now. Meal…

The advice of waiting another day or so is good. Make sure that you are stretching your complete body everyday. Even when not working out. It helps with the soreness. I found that if I only stretch my legs, my back starts hurting then my shoulders. I think this will help! Good luck. I am doing the C25K myself.

Interesting you say that! I lost 55lbs two years ago and hit a 3 month plateau. I was so frustrasted I decide to stop wathcing what I ate and working out. I gained it all back.
