My starting weight was 197lbs current weight is 189 lbs total lost of 8 lbs!!! My Body fat % went from 42.9 to 41.1 % BMI from 31 to 30.4 For some reasons the measurment tape and I are no friends, so I have to be close to the scale *lol* For now I am okay with this and one last side note: I am almost out of…

Hi There, even though I do not have the nutrition info at hand, I want to share with you my all time favorite! 1.)Rice (I use Basmati for extra Flavour, but the normal is just fine too!), Corn and Thuna! Heat it all up and then I add some soy sauce! If you have enough cals left, add cheese! 2.) Rice and Eggs ( cook the…

i like that inside of being happy at your home! kind of reminds me of a line in an abba song "building me a home, thinking i be strong there" well the rest of the song is not so positive, but that line always gets to me! i think i will make a reasonable plan soon to get rid of all the things that clutters my house and take…

I like that list and I will copy it and put it somewhere, where I will find it often and read it over and over again! And the Quote of the day is really something most of us can relate to I think!

Thanks for sharing this with me and the rest of us. I know that I will continue on this quest of changing my future, because one I do not see my future in the Job I am currently working in anymore and second, I want to do more. When I applied for Medical school right after school it was a desicion based on what my parents…

I can so relate to that topic, as you have seen in the last couple of days! Fear of change is what has held me back for too long and also my mind telling me: It is to expensive to take on that kind of education, because the school money for my husband needs to be paid too! And the worst thing, that always hits me: You have…

I need to study this and the road map a little more careful I belive, but for now the cal intake at mfp is still working for me. But I know at some point I need to change my view in order to be able to keep the weight off! Thanks for sharing!

Wow, seems like there is a lot of traveling this year  At this moment all vacation plans are still on hold here, because of money issues to be honest. Both my husband and I are in need to get out of the house for a couple of days and I am not happy that we cannot plan something, cause I remember how good and…

I have to say that I still have to work for this authentic success or is it maybe better phrased with, I still need to shape my mind better to see this success? However I am working on it!

as long as you feel the difference it is good and if you do some sort of exercise maybe you get more in shape too and that is noticable even with "just" 4 lbs lost! Congrats on those 4 lbs loss and first NSV!:flowerforyou:

Thanks Fredda, I am back now and have catched up on the days I have missed! As for todays: I was reading this topic sweaty from the gym and with chocolate all over myself... literarilly. Cause I felt like I needed and deserved something extra, especially since my husband and I are going to eat out tonight, nothing big, but…

As many of you know I am a nurse. The last weeks due to many sickness in our unit it has been very stressful and last week during my nightshifts I think I snapped somehow. While I think it is normal that you are short answered when under a lot of pressure, apparently one of my patients did not think so and filed a complain…

You were early, I am going to be late  So in the end it will even out!

That is one great way to show of how far you have been coming! Amazing the tales our clothes can tell, after a time of taking care of us and our health! Oh and by the way, you look amazing!

There are really not much print shirts out there I like. The ones I have I usually use for sleeping! As for pastel or watercolors (whatever they are called) I war them I always look a bit sick, so I don't bother to buy them. White I wear as a nurse, so not much in my free time :) I like blue usually the deep darker shades,…

After reading this, I also want to add: Chasing fashion is exhausting, going your own way is an easy road, because it is so much less crowded!!! Have a great day all and may we all find our own way soon! Edit: And congrats to all who are already going their own way:smile:

Hey you might also want to look in the group sections, there are some groups I saw coming by where mothers who just gave birth change experiences and stuff! Just to give you an idea!!! But I also wanted to say: Wow, you did amazing loosing weight during the pregnancy ( I presume you actually talked about this to your…

First of all, I really like the post and cleaning out the closet needs to be done every once in a while. But no matter how many fashion mistakes you might have in your closet, when you are on a very tight budget, you are most likely to keep them, because you simply cannot afford to buy other stuff, no matter how cheap it…

Hi there, how about Paprika, cumcumer, minitomatoes or radish. And as a dip: Plain Joghurt with herbs or spice it up with chayenne pepper

It is not only what you wear, but also how you carry yourself in them. If for example men never wear suits and they have to put on one for a wedding or something, usually you can really fast tell who has got to wear those clothes on a daily basis and who does not. Takes a long time to find the clothes, that fits the person…

I completly forgot about the weight in, but I am still here. I weight in this morning and will put in the numbers shortly! The road map is really something I have bumped into a couple of times now and I have picked a couple of things out, that I have ckecked. At the moment i am too focused on other things around my place,…

Somehow there comes something to mind I read on twitter from people who I never thought needed to pretend that kind of thing. It says "Fake it 'til you make it" Kind of makes me wonder if they maybe sit in the same boat like everyone else, even though they are on stage every night, look simply stunning and are successfull!

What a great post! Good luck, i hope you find some good clients! As sad as it may sounds I always had to do things by myself. When I got to a higher school, my parents were like: well, we were never taught english, so you are on your own! And that was pretty much it for them in every other subject too. They simply had the…

Reading the post I thought: hey, I think I have that skill... I am just not using it latly... why? You see, I use to drive my Co-Workers nuts with knowing a lot about my Patients family situation and unusual stuff, that is absolutly not relevant for treatment... and I need like 5 minutes with them, to get to know them a…

I was told often, that I have a smile, that makes people want to smile along, very open and at times comforting. I do not much to accentuate it, I just smile at people as often as I can... Since I am older, I also smile to strangers! Thanks for reminding us to the shining positive sides we all have!

i am really reliefed to hear you feel better! my major worry was a heart attack which was what sprang to mind first reading your symptoms!
-
I will read this post later, as for now, I am a little worried about you! Chest pain and pain in the jaw... makes a few alarm bells ring in my head. Hope everythin is alright!

I read this post and was nodding along. I feel so much better since I know I live a healthier life! I am nowhere near my goal or out of obesity yet, but when I look in the mirror, especially after the last couple of days (NSV with jeans and belt) I look in the mirror and think: Yeah, not so bad at all! There is not even…
