My calorie goal is 1470 on days I don't exercise. Feel free to check out my diary and/or friend me!

I just made Skinnytaste Pumpkin Nut Muffins and had leftover pumpkin puree.. now the leftover puree has a purpose!

Skinnytaste may have some good healthy recipes that include beans. Also, I started to cook up a bunch of dried beans and then freeze them in quart size freezer bags. 1.5 cups is generally the amount found in a can of beans (minus the liquid), so I measure out 1.5 cups for each quart ziploc and mark the date on the outside.…

I've done a couple of Jillian's and Bob's yoga DVDs and I prefer Bob's teaching style - he explains the poses in more detail which is always important but more so when you're learning. I like this one: The Biggest Loser: The Workout - Weight Loss Yoga Rodney Yee is also a good instructor but I prefer Bob's more upbeat…

I too am on week 6 and having to repeat it several times due to stamina and difficulty making it fit around my weekly gym class schedule. I've tried this program before and stopped prior to week 6 because I got frustrated, but now that I got fitted for running shoes and inserts, running is no longer painful! I will say the…

Get a cheap digital scale (with ounces and grams) to weigh your food. An easy way to learn what is a correct portion size.

I HIGHLY recommend buying either a padded seat cover or padded bike shorts/liners. I could do spinning 3x/week and I would still be insanely sore without the padding. Makes a huge difference!

Spaghetti squash with marinara, roasted shredded chicken, and cheese.. 495 cal for my version. http://www.skinnytaste.com/2013/01/cheesy-baked-spaghetti-squash-boats.html

I've used this website to calculate approximate calories since MFP doesn't have a category for it. Zumba toning would probably increase calories burned by 100-200 depending on intensity. http://caloriesburnedhq.com/zumba-calories-burned/

This is one of my favorites - I sub out the canola oil for unsweetened applesauce and add 1/4 cup chopped walnuts. Per muffin with these changes: 156 calories, 31 carbs, 3 fat, 4 protein, 270mg sodium, 3g fiber. Great with plain greek yogurt for breakfast! A lot of ingredients here but it's all stuff you can buy and keep…

Try the website Skinnytaste - healthy recipes with calorie information included. I think she has a section specifically for Chicken on the right side.

This one is FANTASTIC - Salmon w/ Lentils. You could cut down on the EVOO if you're watching calories even further. Very healthy/balanced meal. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ina-garten/salmon-with-lentils-recipe/index.html

I've always used the information from this website for running inside on the treadmill: http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml

Love this one! You could easily make this on the stovetop rather than crockpot as well. I made this for me and my boyfriend and he never had a clue there was pumpkin in it.. it's very good! http://www.skinnytaste.com/2011/10/crockpot-turkey-white-bean-pumpkin.html

I still eat all my favorite cheeses, but in moderation! Brie, blue, cheddar, goat, manchego, you name it. Weighing it on a scale helps so I don't overindulge.

I'm making a Pumpkin Roll as one of the desserts, found here: http://www.skinnytaste.com/2011/11/pumpkin-roll-lightened-up.html Servings: 13 • Size: 3/4" slice • Old Points: 5 pt • Points+: 5 pts (4 pts no nuts) Calories: 198.3 • Fat: 7.1 g • Carbs: 42.7 • Fiber: 0.8 • Protein: 5 g • Sugar: 21 Sodium: 133.9 mg

Insurance to cover your stolen items? You can always do pilates or yoga, those don't require shoes.

There are generally a couple guys in the zumba classes I take.. I say why not?? It shows you're confident and you're willing to have fun, and it IS a good cardio workout. Try it several times before you decide to like/dislike it. The moves are easier the more you go to class.

I love the Starbucks Lattes this time of year! I've started asking for no whip, nonfat, half syrup. A grande gingerbread latte is 200 with just nonfat no whip but reducing the syrup makes it more tolerable at around 150 or so.

You can roast a whole chicken in the crock pot! 8 hours on low or until cooked through. Rest the chicken on a bed of onions or other vegetables, stuff the chicken with herbs, 1/2 onion, garlic, an apple or orange. Season the chicken with either an herb blend or just coarsely ground black pepper. Once the chicken is done,…

A tip on making hummus.. If you have the time, take the skin off of all the garbanzo beans before you puree in the food processor. The consistency is much closer to store bought vs. a grainy texture.

This is my own take on tuna salad with veggies, I just used what I had on hand. You could also use bell peppers, red onion, broccoli, etc. 325 cal for the items below. Trader Joe's - Organic Pasta Vegetable Radiatore, 0.5 cup dry Starkist - Chunk Light Tuna (In Water) 112 g Cucumber - Peeled, raw, 1 cup, pared, chopped…

I'm not an expert, but I'm guessing 500-600ish. Romaine - basically nothing Tortilla chips - 6 chips is 1 serving @ 120 cal so 120-240 depending on amount Cheese - at least an ounce - 100 Grilled chicken - 120 Pico - 50 Guacamole - 100-125

I've been meaning to try it this way for lunch.. it sounds delish! Herbed Cheese & Tomato Sandwich (total under 400 calories) * 6 ounces low-fat cottage cheese * 1 garlic clove, minced * 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives * Dash of salt and pepper * 1 whole-grain bagel * 4 slices tomato * 1 orange Place cottage cheese in…

If it didn't come already crumbled, crumble and freeze it! Lasts a long time and you can take out of the freezer as needed for recipes.

Also, check out www.reuseit.com under the lunch section..

It's not quite pizza crust (I have to eat it with a knife/fork) but it's an option and I kinda like it. You could reduce the calories further if you halve the cheese. Number of Servings: 4, calories per serving = 143 Ingredients Cauliflower, frozen, cooked, riced, 1 cup Egg, fresh, 1 large Cheddar Cheese, 1 cup, shredded…

Have you tried overnight oats? They're different than the norm. I made the following recipe but used apple butter instead of pumpkin butter (fewer calories) and omitted the pumpkin pie spice. www.skinnytaste.com/2012/09/skinny-pumpkin-overnight-oats-in-jar.html

Religiously log foods every day, eat healthier foods, exercise some. For me, it was mostly about my diet and portion sizes since I already had exercise in my routine.. Add me if you want and you can check out my diary. I'm almost at my goal weight after logging in for 80 days!

You could also take your vitamin after a heavier meal, like dinner, and see what happens. A full stomach might alleviate the nausea.
