^ That. You wouldn't need to ask strangers on the internet if #2 is the guy. Whose behavior is creepy. 2 months in, and he's your keeper... yeah...

^THIS! I track my cardio, but I don't give myself credit for weight lifting (weight training, pull ups, pushups) I'm usually over my limit every day, so I figure it's a wash. I get really hungry at night. If a full glass of water doesn't work, I eat an apple.

"Goomba" Nickname for my son. Came from Nintendo, those evil little mushroom people in Mario-land. When my son was less than a year old, he was constantly crawling. He'd get underfoot and my hubby and I would trip over him. + mom you get the story :)

I found this guy's articles on running when I first started almost ten years ago. It helped inspire me to keep with it. http://www.teampenguin.com/chronicles_archive/20040800_who_needs_a_reason.php Don't get discouraged! Give running a fair chance, and you might fall in love with it! Every run is different, but no matter…

"Eat way more veggies... and just a little bit of the white rice. Too much rice and you get fat." my mom Should have listened! Although the bags of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups probably didn't help, either...

main ingredient is hydrogenated coconut oil - orange nasty stuff. I used to work at the concession stand of a movie theater. 20 years later, and I almost never buy the stuff. Sometimes I'll snake a few pieces from my hubby, but usually we sneak in our own. Cheaper, and way better for you to make your own!

I have a hard time with snacking at my work. I try to brush my teeth in the afternoon, after my second break- that is usually when I cave into the evil vending machine. When your mouth tastes like peppermint, it's kinda icky eating something sweet and sugary... Plus, I try to remind myself have much I would have to run to…

The Worst (my family): " You look so good after losing weight...But you really need to lose 20 more pounds!" All the female relatives on my mom's side of the family weigh about 100 lbs each... I haven't weighed that (nor will I EVER) since 8th grade. 2nd Best (random dude at the grocery store): "DAMN! Look at those calves!…

^THIS. Altho for me, it's more like I want to go down little Saigon, tower over the Asian brothers (at 5'4"), and have them staring at my built calves and biceps.. buahahaha...yes.. be very afraid

Forgot to post this; better now than never :) I've been on a plateau for the last few weeks. Incorporated strength training x3 per week, and it's made me extra hungry. It's been hard for me to keep within my daily calories. I'm trying to drink more water, and stay away from vending machines. SW: 173.6 CW: 165 GW: 159 Weigh…

Hi, I would love to join this group. I turned 38 last month, lost about 12 pounds since the holidays, and would like to lose another 30...possibly 35. Depends on how I feel once I get there. Right now, I'm getting back into social dancing and running; would love to do a half marathon this summer. Good luck all!

Socks are also very important. Cheap cotton socks have given me blisters/peely feet. Here is a decent article: http://jeanrogers.hubpages.com/hub/How-to-Prevent-Chafing-From-Running
