Basically each to their own! I eat in windows, so I eat 100% of my calories between 3pm and 9pm. I have 300g cottage cheese after my workout then a big meal 2 hours before bed. I don't like going to bed hungry. Eating a big breakfast or lunch makes me feel lethargic, slow and lazy all day. But that certainly isn't the same…

LOL true for me too!

Drink, drink, drink, drink water and tea!!! I feel like this sometimes, and it's ALWAYS because I haven't drunk enough. "2 litres a day" is a farce.

Some days I eat them back, and more, some days I dont. Some days I am more hungry than others, so I balance my calorie intake on a weekly basis, not a daily basis. This is what works for me, specifically, I've found after years experimentation. Everyone likes different methods though, so you're bound to get different…

Nope. Suck it up and make yourself like veggies. I used to hate peppers but I made myself eat them every day for a week, now I love them. You body needs vegetables, they arn't optional. Pasta, cheese etc, your body can do very well and easily without.

*Heavy free weights kick *kitten*, and short intensive cardio sessions. You don't need to do 40 minutes on an elliptical, just 20, or 15, doing HIIT. Also, squats and lunges are really fantastic. *By heavy, I mean start at 5kg and work your way up, I'm currently using 9kg dumbells for shoulder press and a 15kg bar for…

I do this deliberately, every day! I'm in intermittent faster and my eating window is from 3-9, it works absolutely fabulously for me :-)

I fast, but not the 5 : 2. There is a group for intermittent fasting, it's very helpful. If you haven't already, I'd really recommend reading "Eat Stop Eat" by Brad Pilon, you want to go into it with as much information as you can!

I have had this issue too, funnily enough being a woman and all! Keep it business as usual, weigh in, measurments etc. Make sure to really ramp up your water consumption arounf totm, I drink at least 3 litres a day in that week, 4 if i'm gymming it.

Alpha lipoic acid (to divert energy to muscles instead of being stored as fat) Chromium (to help control blood sugar levels) Magnesium,…

This has happened to me before. Deffo low blood sugar! I found that a banana and a small handful of almonds does wonders in the middle of a long workout - just in case you do it again! facebook.com/yummygalley Dominique x

Very normal!! Same happened to me this week, put on 3 lbs overnight because I... a) lifted heavy weights (water retention for repair) b) drank 2 litres instead of the usual 4 c) consumed too much salt You cannot put on several lbs of FAT in a couple days, unless you have seriously binged! facebook.com/yummygalley Dominique…

I do "higher calorie day" once a week. I don't like the phrasing of cheat day because it gives a bad connotation to food.

LOL, I assume this is a joke?

"not just a straight up and down look" That's a shape, not a look. Women can't help how their bone structure is...

Options 40 cal mint hot chocolate and a square of dark chilli chocolate instead of the full fat version and a few truffles. Excellent before bed!

What do you want to use it for? The reason they do it for before gastric bypass is to clear the digestive system to it's easier to operate on. This is the only reason to seriously do it, because you're having surgery. You will get the same effect from a detox diet. Eat clean, pure foods, basically nothing processed for a…

Anything with eggs! They are a miracle, almost perfect food.

Of course that's fine :-)

As I said before...there is no real way of knowing unless you can afford to get a bod pod or dexa scan done. All I'm doing is sharing the information I have available, whether it's right or wrong. I don't know why people are taking it so personally.

I wasn't burning 600 on my high cal day as it's my rest day also, I just went for a 20 walk. It's enough for me. Don't you think you getting a little too involved in trying to prove me wrong? If you really think what i'm doing isn't right then just leave it alone, feel sorry for me and wait for the article titled "All you…
