I actually disagree with the "Make it MANDATORY to eat 5 times a day" as the above poster said. That way work for some people's bodies, but not everyone. Personally, I have had the most success with intermittent fasting. Eating all my days calories from 4pm-8pm. My body and mind love it.

I started IF 5 days ago. My window is 4pm -8/9pm. Within this time I eat up to 1400 caloriea depending on my workout. It really has worked amazingly for me. Increased energy, more focus, no thinking about food during the day etc...

The protein is set VERY low. I always go over it in extreme!

Erm...you're eating junk food almost every day! Chinese, cake? If you like rice, make your own dishes and freeze them. If you like sweet food, stew some apples and rhubarb and add cold non fat yogurt with come cinnamon and almond flakes. There is a lot of processed sugar and sodium in there, it needs to be cut out! Believe…

Halloween isn't as big in the uk (ive never celebrated it). But if there is a reason to celebrate its wine and cocktails for me! It gets easy to deny cake and sweety but you can easily rack up 1000 cals from a few cocktails and glasses of wine!

The yogurt ones taste good but tbh I don't think its the kind of thing anyone should be eating if they are trying to be healthy. As an occasional treat, yes. But as a daily snack, no way. I would treat them the same as a chocolate bar.
-
Personally, i prefer quality rather than quantity! I have red wine 3/4 nights a week, just a small glass of 120 cals.
-
Yes! I am eating my calories back on most days. I'm not one to undereat when i can without feeling guilty :-)
-
Exactely! It feels so wrong to not feel ravenous in the evening, even though i've been exercising for 150 minutes!
-
Yes, i eat healthily and within my 1200 limit. This is my 11th day. My clothes do fit better, it's just thhe last time I did this (burining the same amount with the elliptical, not walking) i lost 7lbs in the first week. This time - nothing. I'm not weight focused, but im surprised at nothing has come off.

I live on a boat and dont own a tv/dvd player! The reason i have bad ankles is because i did Insanity and my ankles and right knee just couldnt handle the fast and very high impact moves.
-
It's not really a stroll..i'm walking as fast as i can without putting myself in severe pain! And by severe i mean I start wincing and crying! I overtake all people i come across infront of me.
-
Tried out Insanity, injured both my knees and ankles, could hardly walk for 3 month, ate in comfort, next thing you know i've put on 30lbs and increased my waist my 4 inches!!
-
You're clearly doing all the right things...so why do you think that having a smaller stomach is going to help? You can eat now what you would eat if you had the band. Do you binge eat? If not, and you are eating only 1200 calories and exercising then there must be some kind of medical condition that is stopping you from…

What's your favourite food? I had a cheat weekend too (my birthday) so I ate all my favourite foods - Steak, peanut butter cups, beer, wine, snagged a few chips from my boyfriend, bacon, sushi, onion soup with cheesy croutons! Yum yum, it has really kept me at bay! I've been craving fish and chips all week so I'll be…

Hi Bex! UK user here from Brighton!

I actually keep a steady pace throughout. I use level 5 out of 10 so it's not the easiest yet not the hardest. I know I am doing it right when I dont have to slow down for the hard bits, I just increase my exersion. I do this for 10 minutes. I do not go flat out at the easy bits because I just push the peddles with my legs…

Have you heard of stevia? It's a completely natural plant extract which is very very sweet. I'm not sure where you are in the world but you can buy it in most supermarkets/health food stores in the US and UK. I'm a die hard no added sugar ribena fan (I live on a boat so the water tastes awful!). Make some flat lemonade…

You look INCREDIBLE! Whooo!
-
Absolutely. This happened to me too, when not eating enough and not exercising enough. Make sure you have a 400 kcal breakfast, it's the magic number! Have at least 20g of protein in each meal and if you still havn't eaten enough, have some dried fruit and nuts or perhaps some dark chocolate if that's what you like.
-
I was expecting it to be really boring but actually sounds quite nice ans nourishing! I too love burgen bread in the morning, very filling and she eats a good amount of protein. I cant imagine that's what she eats everyday though, unless she just isnt that interested in food!
-
Never heard of that! I actually try to have at least 30g of protein in each meal!
-
Just opened it :-) Although ive just had a naughty weekend due to it being mine and my mums birthday!
-
I used to love eggs, so i ate 2 eggs every morning with a slice of wholemal toast. Now i love sandwiches, so i have a chicken, tomato, cucumber and mustard sandwich fir breakfast! Eat what you like, dont conform to traditional breakfast foods! AND i get 2 of my 5 a day and 25g of protein in! How awesome is that?!
-
I usually do, but I ran out of food and lost my bank card so the only thing I could have eaten we my boyfriends cookies or bread and butter! I was very tempted so I went for a long walk to get away from them! I didnt expect to burn so much tbh! And then it got late... It's not a normal day for me! Still, i'll make sure…

Thanks guys! I'm still a little hungry so i'll have some fruit and leave it at that.

Evidence of processed/fried food in your diet log - Ocean spray 'juice drink', Fried eggs, Shwan lasagne rollup, Mini pretzels, Honey nut cherios, Kraft miracle whip dressing, Kfc, Wholewheat potato bread, Fish and chips, Buttermilk pancake mix, Jif peanut butter, Salted butter, Chicken wings, hot dog, Is this really the…

Ive just looked at your diary..you cant actually think you were eating healthily?! Where are the fruit and vegetables? Exercise? Water? You need to educate yourself aboutt healthy eating before blaming a calorie counter which you dont even fill in properly!

Lower body fat! And its very important to do resistance work for your legs, squats, lungest etc. It DOES work, but there is not magic trixk. Just hard work and comsistancy. Also drink loads of water.

I love what I eat at the moment, it keeps me full but not what you would call 'conventional' eating! I always have at least 400kcals for breakfast - normally a chicken, cucumber and tomato sandwich. This keeps me full for at least 5 hours. I then snack on fruit until dinner at 6 which will be up to 500kcals. This is…
