If your goal is to burn more fat (decrease bf%) up the protein and fat and lower the carbs - 15% protein is crazy low for an athlete! Ditch the sugary trail mix and anything sweet that will trigger fat storage. Snack on pieces of chicken/turkey and low GI fruits like apples and plums. Are you lifting?

I'm one of those people who for about a year was looking for a solution in a bottle, I literally spent £100's trying to find the best fat burners and appetite suppressants. Didn't work, I still craved chocolate and sandwiches in high volume all day. What has actually worked? Ditching the process carbs, upping fat and…

My first ever WOD today! 24 squat thrusters @25kg/55lbs, 150 ropes for time - 4.48

I've just started crossfit (I have a background in DIY deadlifting, squatting etc). My trainers have said that newbies should be doing hour sessions no more than 4 x a week as it can cause injury doing too much too soon. So I'm pretty much going every other day and walking at least 10,000 steps on my off days. I'm hoping…

There is no such thing on the market at the moment. i have a fitbit flex which is awesome but does not track HR. I'd like to buy a polar ft4 for for crossfit WOD's but just don't have the spare £50! But that is the one I'd recommend anyway.

Just Googled it... "First, squeeze Fresh Lemon Juice, then add Rich Maple Syrup, and Cayenne Pepper into Pure Water" WTF, pllllease just do a "clean cleanse" i.e. Eat meat, veggies, nuts and fruit. Plenty of water.

It sounds like you are getting down to what some people call "the last 5 miles". I don't know how many calories you're eating etc but you need to eat closer to maintenance, especially up your fat's and protein and really limit processed carbs, make your workout 30% cardio 70% lifting. Following a plan like 5x5 is a great…

Crossfit Incline Powewalking Olympic lifting You will never find me doing anything that involves dancing.

I have the same salad dressing every time, and have done for the last 10 years (I'm 23!) and I LOVE it. It's also drizzle it on over grilled turkey and asparagus! Equal amounts of extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar and diijon mustard. Simple as, I use a mini tupperware box to shake it up and it stores in the fridge.…

I have trouble staying UNDER my calories! Whole foods are making me VERY hungry!

Q - Why are people not using the whole egg? Or even mixing a whole egg with whites? The yolks are so incredibly good for you!
-
Depends where you live. You can buy no such thing in the UK, or cartons of egg whites.

Thanks everyone!!! That helps so much. It turns out I was actually greatly overestimating the amount of sweet potato I've been eating - The cooked weight is much less than raw weight, my diary is open so you can see. I just got an attack of the munchies (absence of sugar!) so I made a coconut pancake with PB, it really…

I'd stick with edamame beans (young soy).

I noticed a significant difference when I stopped running and literally only did 20mins incline power walking and 10 mins of deadlifting and air squats. My waist went from 34-31inches in a month - only lost 4lbs.

Bump!

I cant say whether that's enough because we're all different. The routine that I found that really burns the fat? Incline power walking/stair walking, squats, dead lifts and press ups. Also keep changing your routine, or don't let it become a routine. The body adapts quickly to exercise so you need to keep it guessing,…

Find your nearest cross-fit box or invest in a few hours with a Olympic lifting certified personal trainer. Getting the right form and technique first is CRUCIAL. There are two moves that make most others obsolete - Squats, Deadlifts. Do these properly with a barbell and you're on the right track.

6 days. But of course it slowed after that.

Eating too much simple carbohydrates and sugars cause belly fat. There is a simple solution, 1. Eat clean - eat lots of veg, meat, pulses and low gi fruit. Look into The Zone "diet", its how many athletes and crossfit people eat. 2. Lift heavy along with short bursts of high intensity cardio - will really ramp up your…

Wowzers, there was certainly less drama when it was simply called intermittent fasting, before Dr Mosely released his book. It certainly is annoying when people have to put down something that didn't work for them. Guess what, eating every 3 hours doesn't work for me but I fully accept that it works for other people. Holy…

What about your measurements?
-
1. Go ahead and use the scale but do not take it as seriously as you are doing now. Look to the tape measure for truth, that's what you're doing this for anyway, isn't it? To be smaller? 2. How much work are you doing on the treadmill, and is it walking, running, what incline? If you want a flat butt, run on the treadmill.…
