So very awesome, I can't wait. I don't think people who haven't struggled at over 200 or more can ever relate to what an accomplishment it is to see that first number change. Good job keep it up.

I'm 42 but went through menopause in my mid 30's. It seems it is harder for me to lose weight but I'm not sure it has to do with menopause. I will be interested to see if there are others that experience difficulty with Menopause.

Journal how you feel, how uncomfortable it is, your thoughts. Get back on track you can wipe the slate clean and start tomorrow and when you feel weak re-read what you wrote and remember why you don't want to do it again. Tell yourself every day that you can do this and believe in yourself. Your mistake does not define you…

I can relate to not wanting to go to the gym. I'm at 223 and needing to lose probably a hundred, have gone to the gym once and felt so big and so out of place. Ya know I'm reading through these posts and no one said you aren't ugly unless I missed it. You AREN"T ugly. It's awful to feel that way. I try to remember that I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Whether I'm big or small. I believe in a God who loves me and made me. If you can't look at all of you and love you focus on…

You look beautiful thank you for the encouraging words. I have only begun and the goal seems so far away it's so encouraging to read about others who have been down the road and succeeded and good job about stepping back and loving yourself and not being hard on yourself.

I would love to join you. I totally understand about the spiritual aspect of this weight issue. It's not black and white if you are a Christian, you can't just separate food and exercise from faith, they all go together. It's not about excluding anyone it's about being able to relate on a different level.
