  • After hearing from you ladies, I am going to sign up for breastfeeding class for sure. Probably also the birthing class, so I feel more prepared for this scary thing that is ever looming! Thank you girls!!!
  • Hi Mama's! How are you all feeling? I went to Texas last week for a horse show and came back to a 7lb weight gain! I am now up ~12lbs at 23 (almost 24) weeks. :-( My goal was to only gain 15lbs during pregnancy so now I don't know what I'll do. I am working out 2 or 3 days a weeks for an hour+, trying to drink plenty of…
  • Hi there! I am 22 weeks and have already gained about 9lbs. First of all, it is totally normal to not gain, or even lose weight, the first trimester, which is what I did. The Doc told me to only gain ~15lbs so I haven't changed my goal to "gain" yet since I have been gaining without that as my goal. I figure if the doc…
  • Have any of you ladies read any good books/blogs/websites on birth? I know I have 4 months left to prepare but I am already freaking out. Everything I read makes me feel light headed and shakey. I know that it is coming and there is nothing I can do to stop it, but I want to have as much knowedge as possible when I go into…
  • I have decided to stay at home too! It was a major decision for us, but I feel relieved to have come to it and am so happy that my husband can provide an income so I can stay home with our babies! What part of the country do you live in? I live in Colorado so the idea of a January birth is kinda scary! Luckly I live only…
  • I have felt pretty good so far! This is my first and we are so excited! I have gained about 6lbs so far, but that's good since the Dr. said I should only gain 15lbs. I had a low placenta for the first 18 weeks, which caused some bleeding and put me on "limited activity" but it has moved up enough to be considered normal…
  • This calculator was right on where what my Dr. recommended and it gives me cues on where I should be when. http://www.calculator.net/pregnancy-weight-gain-calculator.html Hope it helps!
  • I think I really started to show at about 17 weeks. I have always had a tummy though, so I wonder if that hid it for a while. It just popped out one day and just keeps growing! However, my pants stopped fitting well by 12 weeks, but I think a lot of that was bloat. Oh the bloat!
  • How do you make your yogurt and kefir?? I might have to try this!
  • I only did one class, at about 11 weeks, and came away with bruised knees. It hurt! I want to try again but am scared of hurting my knees. I did sign up for a aquatic prenatal class and LOVE it so far. See if there is a Cambio Yoga studio near you. I liked the class just not what it did to my knees.
