Outside. Winter running is some of the best. Just be smart about it. Layer on top and stay away from the ice. I cannot wait until it gets super cold again! Hot weather running is the pits!

I agree, whatever is good for you is the right time to do it. Personally it's all about the mornings for me. I am a runner and it's so nice going out right around sunrise. The humidity is low and it's gernerally just a nicer/prettier time of the day.

Don't listen to anyone. You are doing this on your own for yourself. Bottom Line. No one has the answer to your problem. As soon as people figure out what you are doing they will offer you their magical advice even if you don't want it. You are your own person who needs their own routine. With support you can find…

I am in a similar slump and have attributed it to the HEAT. It is oppressive here in the suburbs of Philly. I went running this morning at 0600 and was still sweating after my cold shower. Just keep at it and you will speed back up again. That's one of the great things about running, it doesn;t matter how fast you go but…

RUNMETER has been my most reliable APP. Also, RUNMETER stores everything locally on your phone unlike other APPS. I use it to track my runs, or any other activity, on my phone, and then I upload the info to MAP MY RUN (MMR). The MMR APP in my experience is not reliable or accurate, at least for the iPhone.

It’s definitely a pain in the butt to stick to your diet on rest days. It was always a good indicator to me at how dedicated I am when I was still well under my caloric limit. You’re on the right track with cross-training though. That’s what I do. The couch to #K plan is great & helped me run my first 10K back in April, &…

6k to 7k daily. And that was with a highly active (labor) job. It was honeslty rediculous that I could maintain a 400lb body while unloading traincars. *sigh* That's all behind me now though.

Good for you! My wife and I also lost over 100LBS last year, welcome to the club. It's all about discipline, which you apparently have. Keep up the good work!
