  • Well I'm not sure about the fatigue per se, but how often do you check your sugar? My boyfriend is type 2 diabetic and by my feeding him healthier he is off the metformin all together and has never had to have insulin. He checks his sugar 3-6 times a day. I know when his sugar gets high he gets very sleepy. It's kind of…
  • 68 But what the hell does your education level have to do with your life expectancy???
  • I first got started with a gym back in 2009, and it was a women's only gym. Their main thing was circuit training...first day, a lady took me around the room showing me how to use the machines and had me them out to see what weight to put on each. Every other day we did circuit training there.
  • I like the Kellogg's Fiber Plus Antioxidants bars.. they are only 120-140 calories each and contain 9 grams of fiber each (35% daily value). Have you tried that?
  • Give this site a try http://www.convert-me.com/en/convert/cooking
  • Be careful with onions, though, it is said that if you cut an onion you have to use it right away because even if it's wrapped up it will absorb all the bad stuff it can!!
  • You're quite welcome! I know the sodium is kinda high but that's because I used the Ragin' Cajun seasoning and that has salt. It's my newest go-to seasoning though. When ever I concoct a healthy recipe that turns out I'll post it for you all :)
  • I read that you can use chia seeds to substitute eggs somehow. Gotta find that article again. And what is the BUMP thing about???? I feel old, I'm so out of the loop on internet lingo
  • I used to work out early in the morning, shower at the gym, then go to work from there. However, my life and schedule are different now (I am usually up later with my boyfriend since he works 2nd shift) so I really don't see being able to do the early morning thing anymore. I saw online that you will burn calories well…
  • Best of luck to you! I'm still working on my FIRST 15 lbs lol
  • I'm sorry, but that wording is rather harsh. I thought we were here to support one another in our weight loss goals, not call names and belittle people.
  • EXACTLY!!! If you are trying to better yourself, that means you have to get rid of all the negative influences that are holding you back including jerk spouses!!! If you love someone you will support them when they are trying to do well...makes me wonder how much these significant others really care for you guys!
  • Yes, that is VERY good! When I am feeling up to it (at LEAST twice a week is my goal!!) I do a full 60 minutes and my burn is usually between 700-750 calories total.
  • Best of luck to you!!!
  • For me, it has gotten a lot easier to drink water. In the morning, I have my coffee, and the rest of the work day I drink iced water only. I have gotten to where I drink water at home now too. It was a process but I have gotten used to it. I used to use crystal light and all that but it really is healthier to just drink…
  • You're beautiful! You should definitely be proud of yourself.... with that extra weight off, your natural beauty shines through more :)
  • I was just about to mention exercise when I saw the previous post. As long as you burn enough calories, you CAN eat more and lose plenty! The last time I did the whole diet/exercise thing I was losing anywhere from 1-6lbs a week...it just depended on how much I exercised.
  • If you are able to quit smoking alone, that is quite a big step toward getting healthier! I wish my dad had listened to all the nagging and begging I had done for him to stop...he might still be with us if he had.
  • There is a brand of drinks called Skinny Girl that are lower calorie. I personally haven't tried any but I have seen them in the store. www.skinnygirlcocktails.com/
  • I'll be your friend :) I just joined and my boyfriend and I are trying to get healthier, lose weight...our main problem is getting lazy and saying screw it I'll eat pizza!
  • I'm 5'4" .. damn, always excluded LOL
