For me, planning ahead always helps. Here are some random things I've been doing/eating: For sandwiches, I use only 1 slice of bread. For snacks: one tablespoon of hummus can be used on a big pile of raw veggies which gives me something to chew on and helps fill me up (I love it with broccoli). Roasted veggies are easy,…

Welcome! I'm a newbie as well. Like you, I'm trying to lose weight that I gained since having a little one. My problem is that I struggle to find the time to get active. I'm motivated to make it a priority now, though.

I love beets. I think my favorite way to eat them would be uncooked and shredded on a salad... or just shredded and tossed with a nice vinaigrette.... sprinkle with salted, toasted sunflower seeds... yum!
