Not going to waste my time looking through multiple pages of people wanting friends just to have friends. They are called friend wh###s!!!

THIS, and it wouldn't hurt to make your profile public.

Second time around with INSANITY, loving it. Going to do P90X next.
-
I totally agree with this!!
-
Awesome comeback. Thanks, gonna use that one.
-
Oh, lol, I thought this was going to sing the praises of exercising more so you can eat more. I guess it is literally "eating rocks". Strange to be sure.
-
I so desperately want to come up with a reason why what you did is bad for you and it is going to stall your weight loss and it isn't the healthiest thing to do and it may slow your metabolism down and, and,.....and.....there just doesn't seem to be anything wrong with what you did. THAT IS THE GREAT THING ABOUT WORKING…

That is kind of demeaning larger women. I like "larger" women and don't think I'm not "scoring" if I don't go home with an anorexic *****!! Just sayin'

I've always heard that it is the high carbohydrate intake when coupled with red meat that raises blood cholesterol. But of course this study will be poo poo'd by the militant vegetarians (ORLB) as skewed because of who funded it. LET THE FUN BEGIN!!!!!

I ate at the Terrace Restaurant in the Narita Airport Hilton. Only because it was very close to the airport. Very good food, really cool restaurant, the dining room is separated by a glass wall to the kitchen so you can see what's going on in there, somewhat pricey though. This was a year ago.

I wanna be BUFF, dang it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Well Liz, thank you for that lesson. I was going to mention that cardio works the heart so with that in mind it is good. I didn't realize your HR can be elevated substantially while lifting. I love cardio, I hate cardio, I am going to start lifting very soon.
-
Yeah, they really fell apart this year. I was at this game, very emotional, very classy move by Mike. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pouH3J-iQQ8

Thanks everybody, I think there is a deep seated reason for my settling for mediocrity. I've seen it in my career, relationships, and in my weight loss I guess. I am having no problem losing weight and have recalculated my calories downward every 10 pounds lost. This is totally mental why I'd even consider settling for…

I'm on day 21 of my second time around with INSANITY. I'm still a big guy so if you think you can't do this, you can. I started at 264 pounds and I'm down to 228. All can add me if you'd like. Just put INSANITY in the message.
-
Awesome smile :)
-
Nope, I've never understood the purpose of that show.
-
Women's final this year, MINNESOTA vs WISCONSIN. Should be awesome!!!!
-
Former, NORTH STARS, you guy's stole my team.
-
I started at 313 pounds which was my all time high on March 21 of 2011. I am currently at 228 and my goal is 180. You can do this no matter where you are starting. Don't look at the whole picture or you'll get frustrated. Take it 5 or 10 pounds at a time. You will get to your goal before you know it.
-
Yeah, I noticed that too. It's like WTF!!! Now before I recalculate, I copy and paste the data into an excel spreadsheet. Then I don't really care what MFP history says.
-
It will work to temporarily drop weight, much like what wrestlers do to make weight. As soon as you start drinking water the "weight" will come back b/c all you are doing is dehydrating yourself.
-
LOL, I hear that. I'd be happy with a little more hair, but then I'd have to deal with coloring that so, I'm good!!!
-
Ok, thanks. I know in the Insanity workouts, it is like 3 minutes intense then 30 seconds rest. I guess I should have known to do that on the elliptical too.
-
too much rest ;) [/quote] SERIOUSLY???? Crap, that is the exact routine I've been doing. Should I just reverse the two?
-
Won't quote all the great info already posted. HIIT is AWESOME and your metabolic rate stays elevated for up to 48 hours after you're done, from what I've heard. Great thread!!
-
Pale and proud of it!!!! PALE POWER!!!!! All kidding aside, I avoid the sun as much as possible. Living in the north it is somewhat easy. When you get older you will be thankful that you did. One thing I like are the people who think I'm still in my 30's, that is until I take off my hat. :grumble:
-
I kind of agree, but I'm sure someone could log the stirring as cardio exercise... you know the people I'm talking about.
-
Sounds like that isn't the only thing that has grown:laugh:
-
Uhhh, that is still a lot of calories for about 1/3 of a cupcake, no thanks. I'd rather eat healthy food.
